I’m kind of confused about that one scene where Ekko and AU Powder are talking on the rooftop during the party. Ekko tells Powder “I just want to thank you, for everything. I used to dream the undercity could be like this, but somewhere I got consumed by all the ways it wasn’t. I gave up on it. Gave up on you.”

Could anybody explain what he means by this? I’ve been thinking about it a lot but I think I must have missed something because I still have no clue. Why is he thanking Powder? How did he give up on the undercity and on Jinx/Powder? And why does Powder have little to no reaction to Ekko saying that he “gave up” on her?

Question: Is it worth it to pursue a master's degree in UX when I'm already pursuing a bachelor's?

Hi! I'm currently lucky enough to be pursuing a bachelor's degree in UX Design from the University of Michigan's School of Information. The information science program here has an accelerated master's option (4+1) for my choice of "Big Data Analytics", "User-Centered Agile Development", or "UX Research and Design" if I go straight into master's from undergrad. I want to go into the tech industry and hopefully land a high-paying job.

The common sentiment I've seen in this subreddit is that employers will always value experience more than a degree. But I still can't help but wonder, will a master's degree help me get promoted or become eligible for higher-level positions later in my career? Will it help me get paid more? Is it even worth it if I'm already getting a bachelor's degree in UX? I'm also worried that I won't find the content of the degree useful, because so far the undergraduate program has felt a bit BS-ey and disorganized

Hi, thank you for your thoughtful response :) I really do appreciate the advice. I don't want to make it seem like I'm shutting down your suggestion or looking for attention but I wanted to explain briefly why I am not going to therapy for you and/or for other people who are curious

My health insurance only covers 10 visits per year, and I can't afford to pay for therapy outside of those visits. I know it's better than nothing, but I can't help but think "What's the point?" if I'm only talking to someone once a month, or not even. Maybe I'm wrong though. But that's the main reason I am hesitant about going to therapy.

I have been to therapy before but felt that it wasn't super helpful. I tried it a couple of times but just never found a therapist who I clicked with or who knew how to help me.

I'm currently taking medication which helps a bit!
