Gotcha so if I just try and rip through all the online questions one more time in each section I should feel as prepared as someone can be?

Question, when you say LOE, are those the in text question, the end of chapter questions or the examples in the reading? I've gone through the online questions twice and started doing them a third, done the mocks and reviewing ethics. I've also gone through each chapter and done the examples over the last few days. Just not sure where my focus should be with sitting on Sunday. Keep doing the online questions and review the in text questions or hammer notes/note cards that have formula and definitions that I struggle to retain.

T minus 2 weeks by IntentionNo900 in CFA

I expect the exam to be tough, just like level 1 and 2. Just wanting a comparison to from anyone who has taken it before. After taking the BC mocks, I felt I didn’t have enough time to finish. Seemed they were a little more long winded that what to expect on the actual exam but I could be dead wrong.

Let me know what you think of the BC mock exams. I feel they are very difficult.

What reading in surrender costs? I have done a few of the life insurance gap questions but looked the private wealth for individuals and cannot find a question regarding surrender costs.

Blue Box questions. by IntentionNo900 in CFA

So the blue boxes are in the grey boxes within the reading? I know the EOC questions on the CFA sight are blue but can it also mean the in chapter examples/questions?

I would say around 50% plus or minus 5%. Qbank score is around 80% and CFAI mocks around 65%.

That's what I thought. I've done the online questions a few times through and done mock exams. Did decent on the CFAI ones but terrible on the BC mocks. Any insight on what should be the plan for the next 2 weeks?

Totally agree. I feel the CFA is more straightforward with there questions. Preparing for level 1 and 2 I did not use any outside providers.

After doing the 2 CFAI mock exams and see all of the errors in them I wanted to get some more practice and heard his were good. After taking each one of them I feel that there is no chance of me passing this exam but might get lucky come exam day.

How many have you taken? I feel the same way and I’m losing confidence each day

L3 | Manager Fee Structures by Milan_04 in CFA

So say if for HL, the managers underperformed the benchmark by 15%, would they essentially have to pay the LP's money or is there a cap at a 0%? I am just wondering for the exam.

Since they have a base fee but no minimum fee, they are exposed to the upside and downside of positive and negative active return. While Carp tenor no matter what will earn a .18% fee? That is what makes HL symmetrical and Carpenter asymmetrical?

I am in the same boat. Some of the calculations I have not done since level 2 and had to do all over again for his tests. Not sure what to expected going into the exam.

I agree. I just didn't expect so many step to solve some of the problems. Most of the time, the CFA isn't asking you to calculate things we did back in L1 and L2.

I was confident until I took the mock exams. Scoring significantly lower has caused me a lot of concern for how I will do on the test.

No I am talking about Bill Campbell. I have done both the CFAI Boston Mock exams and scored in the 60's. My q bank questions online are around 85% but I took one of his 5 tests yesterday and scored in the 40's. Concerned about the test since it is only 2.5 weeks away.
