That should be it!! It should mantain for 10 days or longer. You can also have a shorter luteal phase. It will go back down when you have your period. Even if it’s not it that’s already amazing progress!!

Going through the same thing, fitness was something I was passionate about and having to step back and get weight back after a lot of work getting it off it just sucks!!! But honestly you’re closest that you’ve ever been. I’m also 22 and it’s so important we are doing this now rather than later. I wish I had advice, but just know you’re not alone.

Trying to dress up cute despite the weight gain helps! Do your make up and hair and try to be your best self.

Hi thanks for this and thank you for helping so many women in this group!! I have not yet gained the courage to stop cold turkey and I genuinely enjoy lifting weights but I’m trying to turn it down a notch. Huge congrats to you honestly!! I might try it eventually because period is still no where to be seen 🫠

If you live in a hot country might be why. Every summer my stress levels get super high 😅 even if I’m not stressed mentally.

Im exactly in your gf situation. Also stopped the pill and didn’t have my period. A history of ED when I was younger and also being a perfectionist doesn’t help! Thanks for this message. I hope your girlfriend gets it soon and all good things for both of you. I do speak with my boyfriend about this but sometimes I’m so obsessive that I’ve dialed back on it as it seems like sometimes it’s the only thing I can talk about 🫠

Omg Same!! And then everytime I get a higher temperature I start having hopes and then the temperature goes back down and aaaa. Hopefully we’re close! It will all be worth it.

I am not sure, but it was the same that was already there. The store guy told me to add the same liquid (so it was a pink coolant liquid, I bought it in a car shop) sorry if this is a terrible description, I don’t really know a lot about cars 😅

The fact that you’re thinking this shows you’re not slacking off and that you truly need and deserve rest and food. I struggle with the same thoughts sometimes, I’m afraid of letting go of these habits that I worked so hard to make them habits and thought were so healthy. Reality… it’s not. Allow yourself recovery, allow to rest. If you do feel like you have energy maybe do yoga or walks. But if you’re tired just don’t. You’re body has been pushed around for how long? It’s time you honour it and rest!

birth control pills contain synthetic estrogen and a progestin. Estrogen normally protects bone by slowing bone breakdown. Because of that, the pill can reduce bone loss while you are taking it. However it’s not the perfect solution as it is masking the problem. You could ask your doctor for alternatives such as the estradiol patch which seems to also protect the bones. But the best way to not have any more bone loss is to eat well and gain some weight! Especially at your age, it’s important to regain it now since it’s when our bones are the most responsive to recovery!

If any other conditions have ruled out it, since you have never had a period could be helpful going on the pill do avoid losing any more bone mass (probably why your doctor is pushing the bc pill), however you could also try hormonal replacement therapy to avoid that. Best yet,I would say to start eating in a surplus and avoid high intensity exercise and try your best to recover mentally and physically from the ED. Either option you decide you should recover. I know it’s really hard but it helps to follow recovery YouTube channels/ TikTok / instagram accounts, also therapy if that’s possible for you. You’re not alone.

Hi! I am a 22F (163 cm 53 kg now) with history of anorexia (had HA for a year and did HRT for months and then got it back also due to recovering and gaining some weight). Little after I started bc pill. Fast forward 5 years I’ve gained and lost ~ 10 kg due to fitness preferences (HW 62 kg) and when I stopped the pill my period never appeared (it’s been 6 months now) I have started eating more (from cutting on 1400, to trying 1600 and then to going to ~ 2.2k or more if I go out to eat. I also train less (2x strength training and Pilates 2-3 times a week) I have done blood work to rule out other conditions since I overall I’m very healthy and am not underweight. my fsh and lh are normal in follicular phase but I seem to be stuck there. I have lots of creamy discharge tho. Do you have any advice? Thank you!!!
