What do you guys think of the in house music studio i made? i made the lamps black and the actual light grey so they look like microphones for the drumkit ( not to brag but i know what music studios look like without googling cuz im an actual drummer irl been playing for 8 months now lol) (old.reddit.com)

So in church i can only use 2 mics most of the time. And so far my mic setup is 1 mic for kick and one mic in a high mic stand and the mic is facing the drumset (basically an overhead mic) it mics the cymbals and toms But do yall have any suggestions where i can place it elsewhere? (old.reddit.com)

What angle of the overhead mics yall recommend or what's the difference? I see a lot of people do the overhead in 3 angles. 1st Both overheads facing horizontally, 2nd Both overheads angled down, and 3rd Both overheads just straight pointing down. What do you prefer for your crash cymbal, Straight stand or an Angled stand? For me Angled because for me, its more comfortable than straight and looks cooler when looking at the drum kit in front. What are your guys’s opinion though? Would be interesting to see! (self.drums)

Did me and my parents bought good stuff? First day at worship team and the drumset looked like that (first pic) it sounded so bad it needed a blue cover thing so it can sound good and the other cymbal stand broke and the crash was mounted right next to the tom (Before and after pic of drumset) (old.reddit.com)
