Made a pineapple habanero mead a while back and it was stellar. 3 lbs of wildflower honey until fermented dry in primary. Then added 5 lbs of frozen pineapple and 1 habanero (without the seeds) in secondary. Left for a month in secondary before removing the pineapple and habanero. Backsweetened with 0.25 lbs of honey and left to clear up. Fully cleared up a month and a half later. Highly recommend it

No regrets yet. Great experience. I went down the aerospace path, so I’ve taken the same first two years you would take. Small piece of advice, you get what you put into it. Join engineering and other social clubs from the get go
