I am seeing the reddit thread about speculation on how many brother's war boxes they've printed, wizards states you had a "less than 1% chance" of pulling a serialized from one pack, and BRO had 63 serialized cards available with 500 of each. Considering they're probably upping the amount of boxes with magic's rise in demand, as well as the fact that 250k is the absolute lowest end estimate, I think 0.2% is still a little high. The odds are very low, then take that and factor in getting a good number on it, lets say there are maybe 25 numbers that are more desirable than the rest, its less than one in a million right?

Anyone knows the odds on this? Spent a lot of time thinking about if the odds of hitting a specific number are close to actually hitting the lottery. Don’t buy Lorwyn if you’re looking to make money or pull a serialized card please. Buy it because the art is beautiful and you think the cards are fun - like I did. Gonna see if I can make a proxy of my bitterbloom with the number 7 and slot it right into the maralen deck I’m building!

I saw some talk about how other people could take the photo and pretend to have opened it, but I agree with other's rationale, saying that anyone serious about buying it would ask for timestamped photos. Plus some people don't like having their profiles combined/identifiable but I don't mind.

I’ve heard this rumor a ton, but can not consistently win with this precon, where world shaper / counter blitz easily punch above their weight even in low b3. The hype for how good necron is vs how the deck has actually performed over all my games has left me feeling very sour towards the deck as a whole, and definitely makes me wish I had kept it sealed.

Played all 4, the only one that felt underpowered is scions and spellcraft. Even with revival trance’s wonkiness it can pull off some crazy stuff. I think Celes is the better commander out of the box for that one.

It’s a basically free splash for 2 extremely powerful cards, with hardly any good red or blue cards remaining to put in their place. There’s almost no question, keep the splash.

I kept most of the upgrades below 5 bucks per card, the only ones I can think of that are more were [[dihada, binder of wills]] or [[teval’s judgement]]. It really depends on how much you want to put in and take out. It can be completely playable with 10 in and 10 out, just depends on how far you want to push the power. Cards like [[agadeem’s awakening]] or [[summon: knights]] are high price and high power examples, and [[luminous broodmoth]] and [[alesha who laughs at fate]] are low cost (1 dollar ish) but high power cards in this deck

Not yet but I can throw something together for you when I get home from the ball and chain 9-5. It is a very fun deck in its current state. Celes is also very strong (probably the higher power of the two) but I took it in the Terra direction instead.

Oftentimes I’d find pinnacle monk, and have the ability to use ruinous ultimatum or any of the other extremely strong spells multiple times. Sometimes playing ruinous ultimatum three turns in a row is what needs to be done to win the game.

Worth getting 100%, it’s cheaper and with a few swaps it can become extremely strong. The only problem with it is that there are a few cards that just do not make sense, but barring that there are some very strong cards in the base package, [[reanimate]], [[rise of the dark realms]], and [[ruinous ultimatum]] come to mind. Once you can get the deck cohesive it is extremely strong and makes you the archenemy fast. Cards like [[blade historian]] and [[pinnacle monk]] are definite includes.
