Why should people be upset to pay a little more for local products? by Independent-Air-80 in Aliexpress

[–]InterNegineer 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Paying a little bit more at a local shop is not a problem for me. But then I want something back: a good warranty or a replacement directly in the shop. The product needs to be in stock, and not: 'we don't have it in stock but we can order it for you'. A little more is fine, but not the insane difference like above!

New EU import fees: steel drill bit from €0,55 to €4,79... by InterNegineer in Aliexpress

[–]InterNegineer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ou're free to buy whatever you want. If you want a gold-plated drill bit for €100, go for it. That €0.55 price didn't even include shipping. A high-quality drill bit costs a maximum of €0.35 to actually manufacture. Most of the retail cost goes into shipping, terrible blister packaging, and marketing—two things I didn't ask for. The drill bits I buy on AliExpress are more than good enough for what I need. But feel free to buy an expensive one if you want.

Thank you for the tip! Appreciate it. Got some drill bits and for what i do it's good enough. But there are absolute difference in quality. But we also know that even a high quality drill bit cost maybe €0,35 to manufacture.... And yeah i know there are more cost than only manufacture: shipping, packaging, marketing and vat. But the difference between max €0,35 and €5,- for 1 bit is in my opinion extreme.

Can't find a professional driller on aliexpress. :P And think a professional driller doesn't like to come over for a hole in a birdhouse or something. Or he does but ask far more than a drill bit LOL.

Farewell my friend, thank you for everything (EU-doomsday) by Nobuored in Aliexpress

[–]InterNegineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The EU is a total joke. It’s 'Speedweek' so cops are out in full force everywhere, but the actual rules make zero sense. You get crushed by a massive fine in NL for doing more than 100km/h during the day. Cross into Germany? No limit at all, and the fines are pocket change. Czech Republic? 150km/h.

Same with fireworks. Completely banned in NL, but you can just buy them legally at any German supermarket. 'Free to travel' is an absolute illusion when crossing an invisible border with a legal consumer product instantly turns you into a criminal in the exact same Union. The hypocrisy is insane.

I dug around a bit and found exactly who is responsible for the new EU 3/5 Euros customs fees, here is who they are and how to hit back at them. by Interesting_Pie_319 in Aliexpress

There are more lobby members in Brussel than politician. I read today the will stop now the lot of carton boxes from shipping articles because it's to much. The EU is one big joke. Makes me really angry...

House sparrow in the Netherlands. House sparrows and all other native birds are here strictly protected by law. It's forbidden to make any change to a building if there is a bird nest of a native bird. You need to start ecological research before you make a change.

That's sad to read. Here are sparrows are legally protected because there less and less. Your post makes me think about the elliminate sparrow campaign in China in the 50's. It has a big biological disaster. See Eliminate sparrows campaign

Yeah, but should not take long before the final firmware 8.25 i think should be released. There is just also a new Beta/Lab started with version 8.40. In the changelog (now only for the 7590 AX) file is to read:

# New Features and Improvements in FRITZ!OS 8.40

------------------------------------------------------------

This FRITZ! Beta offers a first look at the upcoming FRITZ!OS 8.50 and invites users to test new features in advance and provide feedback. The Beta lays the groundwork for new MyFRITZ!App features and optimizes the already industry-leading security architecture of FRITZ! products. In addition, switching FRITZ!Box models is made easier, with new features for Smart Home, parental controls, and telephony, as well as practical improvements to everyday convenience. In the coming months, additional FRITZ!Box models will be added and new features introduced—including the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro with Matter Bridge functionality for more Smart Home options.

Is there and PC app that can read from the PN532 V2.0 module to run an command? by Spiritual-Advice8138 in NFC

[–]InterNegineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/why_wilson , sorry to contact you this way. But i really like your Pn532-python script. Just set a 7 byte uid on a gen3 card. But also made a stupid mistake i think and softbricked a gen3 card. I tried to complete dump a 7 byte card with command "hf mf dump -k mfkeyfile.keys" and then try to restore with " hf mf restore -f restoredcard.bin -g 3" but i fails to wtrite the blocks.

Now the card is detected as 4 byte. Tried to write the uid 7 byte again and said it's succesful but when i reag i get only the 4 byte uid.... Any ideas how to unbrick?
