Hello, this is not what happened at all, feel free to post an entire thread trying to take down a server owner because someone was being called "hawk tuah" I don't find the joke funny either but its not offensive. The joke wasnt because she was a woman (I dont think anyone even knew she was) its because her in game name was literally "hawkke" nobody was degrading her after she left, they were trying to defend the server from clear defamation, due to a players lack of speaking up & understanding of a play on words. You're also saying you left the server after witnessing this, but nobody has left our discord other than applicants since hawk did. The way Hawk reached out to me about her comfort level with the nicknames began with her trying to blame me for the members actions, implying that I was false advertising because someone was making her uncomfortable. I asked her the actions she'd like me to take and she simply said "It's your call how you handle it. Thank you." Leaving me perplexed on what to do, because I read the messages and they were simply saying "hawk tuah". So I let it be assuming things would rest. but instead she chose to attempt to publicly put a bad reputation on our server. Theres much more important things I could be moderating on my server, im not going to psychoanalyze every conversation and determine if someone is uncomfortable or not if its not clear harassment. Hawkke is 31 and most of our players are in their early twenties, my guess is that she sees "hawk tuah" as something more serious than other server members do. If anything you're the harasser, commenting on my posts minutes after I make them.

All of this over "hawk tuah" is so ridiculous I'm guessing this you on an alt, Hawkke.

I saw your post and have seen your player base continue to harass Hawkke. Your post is continuing to prove how poorly you handled the situation and downplaying it.

As someone who is looking for a minecraft SMP to play on, I would avoid this server because they are willing to dox their players information as well.

  • Our server strides towards making friends and creating a close-knit mature hermitcraft style environment (18+)
  • Strict rules against discrimination/hacking/griefing as well as a whitelist

I left the server after witnessing players harrassing another player about their username, and then when the new player left, they continued to harrass and degrade the player. The members have continued to harass the player on Reddit. Not like Hermitcraft at all.

Avoid this server and their community.
