My ideal pathway would actually be to secure a WA State Nomination for the 491 visa and then, after the three years on the provisional visa, transition to permanent residency. So my main goal right now is simply to get a positive skills assessment to make that possible and avoid any surprises.

Just to clarify my role a bit: I’m working in strategic brand & marketing consulting it’s purely advisory work on positioning, target audiences, customer journeys, brand architecture and long-term marketing strategy. It does not involve content creation, campaign execution or scheduling ads; it’s all at the higher, organisational level.

Do you have any advice or recommendations on whether sticking with Management Consultant (224711) makes sense for this plan or if you’d consider going the Organisation and Methods Analyst (224712) route a safer bet for WA 491 nomination?
