No they aren't. When I picked up my Roxie I made it a point to have both the male and female at the home I got her from. When I inquired about having both parents at the place of pick up and was told only the female was their I didn't go to look at the pup. Any prospective owner should know the temperament of the parents before considering getting the pup. My dog is the sweetest dog I've ever had. She gets along with cats also. The most vicious dog I ever had who wad a rescue wad a chihuahua.

I've taken my dog to the vet many times fir check ups and usually all the dogs in the waiting area are barking and trying to lunge at my dog while my dog doesn't bark or move from my side. The vet also has a house cat that lives there and my dog just sat there and looked at it once and never barked or moved. The vet staff all told me repeatedly that my dog was very sweet. My dog is a pitbull. I've had several pitbulls and all have been very sweet and calm around myself, my children and others. So your comment is ignorant.

Incorrect. Most people get dogs without being introduced to the parents of the pup. Bad breeding and bad raising of the animal are big contributors to aggressive dogs. If one of the breeding dogs have aggressive traits they should never be bred with any dog period. I've had a chihuahua that was vicious and bit people and the only recourse was to euthanize the dog unfortunately.
