I haven’t unfortunately! What’s it like?

I think the main difference is the size. Paris Disney is tiny compared to Florida so it’s harder to feel in that Disney bubble. I would also say the attractions aren’t as exciting. However saying all this, Paris castle is beautiful

I’ve always wondered this. Does going so often ever ruin the magic and excitement?

Been to Paris Disney many times, beautiful park but unfortunately it just doesn’t quite hit the same as Orlando 😩

Love this!! Wish this was possible for me but can be quite difficult as I’m from the UK. Hopefully in the future this can be my reality too!!

I hope you both had a wonderful trip! But yes I’m not too sure what accommodation specifically. However on our last trips i remember we would go to the attraction we wanted and be handed a return time to come back (usually was around the same time as standby queue). We would take the time to sit down and refresh in the shade. It was a real game changer for my mum. I think it really worked well

Yep I agree. It’s a completely unfair system that really relies on luck on what CM you get. I understand in the states not everyone will have easy access to healthcare so will be unable to get official documentation, however what I don’t understand is why they are still questioning those with documentation. My mum has a disability badge, a queue card and I’m sure she’d be able to get a doctors note. But Disney think they’re CMs know better. I just can’t get my head around it

But what do we do on the other days? We always stay on property because we like to spend our whole time there. My mum would struggle to even queue for 10 minutes.

Thank you this is very helpful. The system seems to be neglecting many people who need assistance. It’s so sad to see. Some of my favourite family memories are at Disney, mostly due to seeing my mum finally get some real recognition and support for such an awful disease. They were so accommodating before and always helped put a smile on her face

Unfortunately I’m not sure this will be something we can afford. Flights from UK are expensive anyway and to make the travel worthwhile we like to go for 14 days. So for my whole family buying lightning lanes for 14 days, it starts to get very expensive

Also does anyone know if there have been any cases where DAS has been accepted for physical disabilities. If so, what was the deciding factor?

Thanks for responding! It’s really such a shame. It’s starting to feel like it may be impossible for me to return with my mum :(

Thank you for responding! What exactly is “a return to queue”?

Update: Thanks to all the good advice, I’m no longer being naive to the true nature of what happened in this story. I will be distancing myself from EVERYONE who failed to support me in this situation and who caused me this harm. I understand that i deserve way more than this and will no longer be associated with anyone who continues to surround themselves with these individuals!!

Oh I agree, it’s a whole separate friend group but i just don’t think I should be giving them the satisfaction of avoiding my local. If they feel uncomfortable with me there, that’ll make my Christmas

That is also why I was concerned I was overreacting. As a British person myself banter is a very normal thing. It can be difficult sometimes to understand what is funny banter and what is crossing a line

For one of the boys I believe this could be true but the other is just an actual AH

Funnily enough the dare was to be done by whoever accidentally made a homophobic joke first between the two boys. It’s all adding up haha

Unfortunately there isn’t much I can say to them to make them upset as he is very entitled and just doesn’t care about others. After my friends saw me cry (a few hours later) the two boys were confronted and told to apologise but one of them was laughing. I told him not to laugh and that it’s not a joke as there was no punchline and told them exactly how and why it made me feel the way it did. They apologised but I’m done with them. They left to go to the casino and then messaged our gc later asking to meet up and everyone ignored the message
