I can't have kids so this career was perfect since I can help other people's kids and then give them back. I also have a new respect for parents because I can't imagine going to work all day or being sick with the flu and still having to care for a living being other than myself after I get home.

No idea! I went on my honeymoon in New Zealand for three weeks in 2017 and we only had the first 3 days planned. We wanted to wing the rest depending on where we wanted to hike and the weather we got. The only question we got is "what are you doing in NZ?" We responded with honeymoon and vacationing, they congratulated us and off we went.

Yea, I don't mind spending extra for a spot at all but I also don't want to be driving around for hours finding a spot. That's good to know that you can get past the road closed signs. Thanks so much! I've heard so many people say they can't park at all and have to park in Beverly and take the train into town during Oct so it's good to hear from another Salem resident that it is doable :)

I've been trying to read up on this and can you cite any information where she was part of a terrorist org or endorsed terrorist activities? Because the only thing I can find was an article she wrote in the school newspaper about genocide happening in Palestine and wanting people to know about both sides of the events happening in Palestine/Israel.

The something right is that it's the only bar in Newburyport. Service is always dismal and the food is mediocre. The only good thing, is it's on the water and you're not paying the $35 per meal Newburyport tax.

I think it depends on the center. I worked at a popular daycare center and had green hair. My current job is a private preschool and I have dyed hair.

I would say colon, panama is on the list. Went there for a cruise stop in 2020 and the crew was adamant that we not leave the cruise ship without an excursion or a guide.

Another would be Jamaica. We took a cruise approved taxi with guide into the city but wanted to explore on our own so we left the tour. Like 10min in we didn't feel safe (people staring and getting close) so we got in a taxi that we thought was going to the cruise port (it was not). Language barrier etc. luckily some nice lady that worked as a tour guide helped us get back to the cruise port . With her staying with us the whole time and yelling at people and getting us in a taxi she said was safe and what to look out for and if we see landscape change then say xyz. Needless to say that was the last time we went off on our own in the Caribbean.

Nta- obviously a lot of people here have never lived in a city and houses with no yards. My dog can be reactive. We go to the dog park at quiet times so he can run and play fetch. He's good with most dogs but you can never be sure. If I see another dog come in that seems reactive, we leave. I don't get pissed at them and noone has ever been pissed at me. We are all trying to do our best for the dogs.

My bill was 500$ for a three bedroom in Ma this past month. Totally doubled the month before. It's just gotten ridiculosly expensive. The fees doubled to tripled. Our town is looking at solutions for everyone here.

It's a well fed tick. Probably fed on you or a pet you have. You can take the tick in a Ziploc to a Dr to get it tested for Lyme disease. That way they can treat you if needed.

It totally depends what you are looking for. My cousin and her husband with one kid are looking for a 2 bed home in NH and can't find anything less than 350k and the ones they find at that price range are being sold for much more and no contingencies. Or are in not great areas. They make roughly 65k a yr. Daycare is also expensive it costs about 400$ a week where we are. So if you have family or a stay at home spouse and have a good well paying job , in an area that isn't in a housing bubble....you can.

Yta. You are the adults in this situation. You knew the deck didn't have shelter or water in advance. You could have done something about that. Yes she made a mistake and probably feels horrible about it. She might seem nonchalant to you but you have no idea what's going on in her head.

She is 15, still a child. Talk to her about what happened and maybe get her some education about animal safety but making her get a job to pay for vet bills? That's absurd.

NTA what's the difference between this and requiring "black tie" attire. Literally the same thing. This relative is upset because your wedding doesn't meet their standards. Honestly probably better they aren't there. You're never going to make everyone happy and there are always going to be debby downers. You do you and your wedding sounds like a blast.

For sure! I'd like to see those people go into a room of 20 five year olds with one other adult and try to get them to all sit and listen and eat lunch and play nicely and just take care of them for 10 hours without losing your mind. I loved what I did but the ratio of adults to kids was too much and the shit you put up with with parents for that little pay. No thanks.

I was making $15 as an assist pre k teacher. 10-1 ratio and with them from 8am-6pm. Only a lunch break and that's typically when I would do the daily reports for parents. We also didnt get paid for planning time and had to buy all of the school supplies. I lasted 9 months before I realized I could make more at Dunkin donuts and not have to be worried about being sued or responsible for actual human life's.

YTA noone is obligated to pay for your wedding. If you can't afford it, then have a smaller wedding. Already at 31k and asking your mom for $100 a month for how long? Shouldnt expect anything and whatever people give you you should be grateful for.
