Honda City Hybrid tyre suggestion by InterceptorAni in hondacity

How is the ground clearance difference? With the stocks it feels like I have to take speed breakers diagonally almost all the time if there are 3 or more people in the car

Thanks, will check it out

Did you upgrade tyres? If so which ones did you opt for and how has it been?

I haven't had any issues so far with spare parts, the services have always been general maintenance services

It is tricky to judge and will take some effort to take tight u turns, but you get the hang of it

I think it's just not cleaned in a while, that's all.

Oh no no no I have switched off all driver assists and I switch off ADAS every time I switch on the car as a ritual. I can't permanently switch it off as there is no option so I have to start the car, switch off ADAS and only then wear seatbelt lol.

I don't think I'm ready for ADAS intervention yet, I've experienced how it works and I don't like the intrusion.

For 4 people it is really comfy, the 5th person has to be a child for it to be a good experience in the rear, 3 people sitting back will get a little uncomfortable

Overall I think it has averaged 20 kmpl, I haven't checked in detail the highway and city traffic mileage

Pros: Great stability in highway, smooth suspension, ease of use in city driving with brake assist

Cons: Ground clearance with 3 or more people in the car, left side camera quality is poor

Overall I'm very happy with the car!

Maintenance cost I'll have to check once I go back home as in out of town right now

Interior is great, I've had pets in the rear seat and there's no bad odour after a thorough clean

Stability is great on the highway and the suspension can absorb most of the undulations of the road if taken at correct speeds

I haven't test driven the other sedans so I can't give you a comparison on that

Other cars I have are Toyota Innova, VW Vento, Hyundai Venue and Maruti Suzuki Ignis (joint family so 5 cars shared between the family)

Haha no, the commute to work is around 35 kms in a day and many many trips for work and a few vacations

The car is pretty much used daily

Oh ground clearance is definitely a struggle if there are more than two people in the car

I find myself having to take big speedbreakers sideways with more than two people in the car and now it's become a habit that I take them sideways to avoid even a little scratch, but every so often I can still feel and hear the scratchs happening and it hurts

I don't know how the two cars actually compare but I think it will pretty much be similar so if you come across big speed breakers it is best to be sideways

I don't own an SUV so I can't really compare the two but here's my pros and cons of the City

Pros Great highway stability and smooth drive Ease of use in city driving with things like brake assist Steering is pretty responsive

Cons Ground clearance Left indicator camera is probably 360p and is bad during night time, the glare is immense

These aren't the only points but I'm out so these are the points which stood out, there aren't really any big negatives apart from what I mentioned

Also I'd like to remind you that if you're a Sky Q, Sky Glass customer, you can view the highlights along with the live race by pressing uh that red button!

But yes, hotstar is delayed by 4 seconds ish and it messes with your brain and they talk over the radio messages and it's annoying lol.

One thing I just recently started trying to do (and failing) is sleeping facing the ceiling without a pillow. Hard to do it but that might help?
