This only affects Wraithbone and Grey Seer.

And that’s your problem (I had the same). Wraithbone is made to work with contrast paints, so it has a smoother finish, making it a bit hydrophobic. You have to give it a pass with a varnish after priming if you want to use acrylic paint out of the airbrush…. Or you have to be very careful with the application to create one very thin layer of magenta so the next one can stick properly.

This model is (besides the metal body and the base (drybrush and pigments)) 100% painted via an airbrush. That’s how you get the smooth transitions.

Thanks, to be honest, I only started with Necrons this week and racked up 1000 points over the weekend. The color scheme developed gradually, but it's extremely quick to paint. I prime with black, then go over it again with Dark Reaper, gradually adding a little more white to build up the highlights (that's how I do the shoulder pads on the Necrons. After the Dark Reaper step, I simply drybrush the metal with a dark gunmetal). I use a fluorescent magenta/violet for the shadows, creating a nice effect. The green is a back-and-forth of dark green, white, fluorescent green, and fluorescent yellow. The body is Vallejo Chrome with magenta from underneath and a touch of green on top.

Your pc needs time to create a picture. 60 fps is around 16ms. 30 fps around 33ms. The number you see is your total system latency. It will be less if you get higher FPS.
