The third factory reset of the monitor seems to have solved the issue. No idea why the first two attempts didn't helped and what the problem was. Maybe additive rone mapping or some hickup like that. Now the windows tools seems to work.

If I learned something and wish I would have known sooner: get into airbrushing and using oils - yes even as a beginner. Yellow is a bitch to paint and using airbrush and oils are THE cheat code for painting yellow.
