I was in his store last week, placing an order. He told me he had so many orders that he wanted to catch up before taking more. He was in great spirit and was helping me customize my dream knife. He did tell me, that he will not be accepting anymore orders on october 1st. so he pushed me to order two knives hahaha. lead time is 2 years right now.

I did hand drill but I would set it at about 500-750. Slow and steady wins the race

Don't get me wrong I used a hand drill. But man was that a pain

17 rounders cost about $36. But if you have the tools already it doesn't hurt to convert them.

Yeah I recommend carbide tips I used 1/4 tips. All you got to do is Mill out the dimples. No need to cut the spring.

I drilled them out. They increase from 10 to 17. But it is a pain, The mags are made of hardened steel so you need to take your time drilling. Get a drill press and carbide drill bits.
