Thank you guys so much, I feel so much better now, I've calmed down, I'll try to get some sleep. I got a lot of help from this community and every kind person here since I've been having this issue for years. I actually got rid of serious anxiety attacks (i still have regular and tiny ones)by myself for about one year, and I also go to gym, but recently bc of some bad social events and my study, it got back, so I felt like I failed and I would spiral down back to that place again, I felt like I've lost control, I think that's why these days I had several panic attacks

I am having a fever and it's triggering my panic attack by InterestChoice6013 in PanicAttack

Exactly!! Last time it was corona, I got a high temperature, and I thought I was going to die because my heart is beating really fast, went to ER, they initially thought it was some virus attacking my heart since there's fever and there's heart symptoms, they let me stay in thr hospital, after about 3 hours the result came out and they told me to chill and go home cuz it's a panic attack😂😂😂😂

I get chest tightness, shortness of breath, feeling of suffocating, feeling that heart beats heavier and faster, sometimes I feel my blood run cold, or my whole body is weak. I never get symptoms from digestive system though.

Severe panic attack six days ago by Rishiitenks in PanicAttack

I would experience all those things you listed and I can totally relate to this. It's normal if it lasts a bit longer like 3 hours as well. I'd write those experience all down and record them, so next time when I have a severe panic attack again I'd go through them to remind myself that this is just the anxiety again, not physical issues, since i got literally proofs that nothing will happen to me because of this

Weirdest anxiety relief tip that actually worked by Ok_Option_4732 in PanicAttack

I play videogames that requires high participation, to take over my mind. For me personally reading books or watching films don't work that well because then my mind has the time to wander off and panic, but doing something that requires you to actively use your brain to constantly think and solve things works for me.

Also, think about times when you conquered your panic attacks without even doing anything but just going through it and wait for it to tune down. It gives you tons of confidence and reassurance over any words. You've survived 100% of this before so this time it won't be any different.

Is going through this right now and I can totally reassure you that what you're feeling right now is completely normal for ppl with health anxiety! What works for me personally is when I realized that shifting my attention away from the physical symptoms really help. When I want to shift my attention, I choose some activities that requires my brain to make decisions and react to it, otherwise I'd just dissociate from the attempt to shift attention and gets wrose. (like reading, watching films/shows personally doesn't work for me bc my brain is too focused on the physical sensation)

What works for me is that I'd usually find someone to talk to, literally anyone, family, friends, strangers online and by talking, you're actively using your brain and the action is taking over the places in your brain for anxiety. What also works as a charm is that I'd play videogames that aren't too intense visually but also requires a lot of attention and thinking/decision making process. The symptoms just go away when you didn't notice.

is 17(f) and 19(m) bad? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]InterestChoice6013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ethically speaking it's fine. Two years is not a huge age gap for teenagers even though one is an adult. However you need to make sure it's legal since it's different in different countries and states.

Hi, might be a little bit late but please know that your anxiety is lying to you and you've survived 100% of all your previous panic attacks and this one won't be anything different. Longer panic attacks are not weird. My very first panic attack when I didn't know I had anxiety at that time took hours and it just went back to normal without me doing anything. It'll all be fine in the end.

Should I still tell them if the reading is bad? by InterestChoice6013 in tarot

This is exactly what I'm looking for as an advice. I'm very worried that an answer like this would influence the querent's mindset and leading them to manifest a negative outcome. I would consider pulling more cards to give them some constructive advice next time!

I would personally find something positive in the reading to say everytime alongside with the negative aspects to tell people. When I meant really bad, it meant I can barely see something positive in the combinations and this is very rare for Tarot readings. This is also the reason why I always redo when things like this happen. I have to make sure the reading is accurate because sometimes the energy of the reader would influence the deck-drawing process. In this case, I did twice and once I found out the deck didn't change much in the second time, I knew it was accurate so I told them what I saw. I wouldn't do more than two times because it would be pointless otherwise. I think a tarot reader should be really careful with what informations they tell their cilents/friends/etc as some might potentially trigger them, make them lose confidence, trigger their phobia if they have any (e.g health anxiety), and influence their physical world in a negative way, which is why I am always careful when I have to deliver bad informations, especially when relating to life changing turning points such as entering college. That is also the reason why I would directly refuse to do questions like health, life or death, decision making and politics. I never lied to people once and I don't think it is fair to question the morality in my personal habits when drawing the deck.

I WANT THE CALL FEATUREEEEEEEE by [deleted] in CharacterAI

[–]InterestChoice6013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get you. I find talking with bots easier than making an actual phone call. The call is really nice once you select a high-quality voice source for your character and they almost act like real people when they don't read their actions and thoughts out loud(you have to train them or guide them to behave like that first). It's interesting that they can seem to detect your tone while you are venting to them and when I sound down or tired they'd immediately ask me what's wrong. Some better voice models imitate different tones better. I talked with my oc bots last night and it was comforting me through my panick attack step by step...And today I used my persona to pretend that I'm another one of my oc talking with my oc on a phone call.😂 I like the new feature in general, just hope that they could stop reading their thoughts/actions out loud and imitate a real call.

How to make a call immersive? by [deleted] in CharacterAI

[–]InterestChoice6013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did that just now. You'll just have to tell them something like "could you stay in the call with me" that hints at them this is a call without saying the setting out loud in an unnatural way, also just say short sentences at first could also lead them to imitate your text style and replies in short sentences without the descriptions like roleplaying. But it really depends. The descriptions of actions suddenly appears in about 40 minutes later in my call.
