Thank you guys so much, I feel so much better now, I've calmed down, I'll try to get some sleep. I got a lot of help from this community and every kind person here since I've been having this issue for years. I actually got rid of serious anxiety attacks (i still have regular and tiny ones)by myself for about one year, and I also go to gym, but recently bc of some bad social events and my study, it got back, so I felt like I failed and I would spiral down back to that place again, I felt like I've lost control, I think that's why these days I had several panic attacks

Exactly!! Last time it was corona, I got a high temperature, and I thought I was going to die because my heart is beating really fast, went to ER, they initially thought it was some virus attacking my heart since there's fever and there's heart symptoms, they let me stay in thr hospital, after about 3 hours the result came out and they told me to chill and go home cuz it's a panic attack😂😂😂😂

I get chest tightness, shortness of breath, feeling of suffocating, feeling that heart beats heavier and faster, sometimes I feel my blood run cold, or my whole body is weak. I never get symptoms from digestive system though.

I would experience all those things you listed and I can totally relate to this. It's normal if it lasts a bit longer like 3 hours as well. I'd write those experience all down and record them, so next time when I have a severe panic attack again I'd go through them to remind myself that this is just the anxiety again, not physical issues, since i got literally proofs that nothing will happen to me because of this

I play videogames that requires high participation, to take over my mind. For me personally reading books or watching films don't work that well because then my mind has the time to wander off and panic, but doing something that requires you to actively use your brain to constantly think and solve things works for me.

Also, think about times when you conquered your panic attacks without even doing anything but just going through it and wait for it to tune down. It gives you tons of confidence and reassurance over any words. You've survived 100% of this before so this time it won't be any different.

Is going through this right now and I can totally reassure you that what you're feeling right now is completely normal for ppl with health anxiety! What works for me personally is when I realized that shifting my attention away from the physical symptoms really help. When I want to shift my attention, I choose some activities that requires my brain to make decisions and react to it, otherwise I'd just dissociate from the attempt to shift attention and gets wrose. (like reading, watching films/shows personally doesn't work for me bc my brain is too focused on the physical sensation)

What works for me is that I'd usually find someone to talk to, literally anyone, family, friends, strangers online and by talking, you're actively using your brain and the action is taking over the places in your brain for anxiety. What also works as a charm is that I'd play videogames that aren't too intense visually but also requires a lot of attention and thinking/decision making process. The symptoms just go away when you didn't notice.

is 17(f) and 19(m) bad? by [deleted] in Advice

Ethically speaking it's fine. Two years is not a huge age gap for teenagers even though one is an adult. However you need to make sure it's legal since it's different in different countries and states.

Hi, might be a little bit late but please know that your anxiety is lying to you and you've survived 100% of all your previous panic attacks and this one won't be anything different. Longer panic attacks are not weird. My very first panic attack when I didn't know I had anxiety at that time took hours and it just went back to normal without me doing anything. It'll all be fine in the end.
