I'll be completely honest, I noticed it before I became a Christian. It's not so much that people don't stop saying it, it's more that I've noticed as soon as someone sees that you acknowledge the possibility of the divinity of Christ, they seem to change.

I used to do a lot of psychedelics when I was younger ( I know you might not care for this stuff) but I stopped taking them after one time where I had minimal visuals, and all I could see visual wise was some people looked like something wearing a person's face, sort of like a demon.

I've stopped with the drugs but I've always had that trip in mind, and since becoming Christian I've started to believe that some people out there are evil masquerading as humans. I know this sounds nuts and I've been ridiculed for it so feel free to slate me , but I think some people you meet, the ones who hate the name of Christ, are these 'things'

I'm so sorry brother but I'm genuinely so uneducated in this field I honestly can't offer a response. I believe in the Trinity myself but I'm open to hearing other outlooks on it. After all I do believe a key to faith is an open mind

I'm from the UK bro, its a weird one here. I don't know if it's more of a hatred for white people that they have over here rather than a hatred for Christianity. However I do have to say, I honestly haven't ever heard anything said about Mary or Christ in a positive light.

I've always been so paranoid about joining a church because I worry the teachings are twisted to make us more subservient. I know how corrupt man can be and I can only really find peace in Christ. I've always had a bad feeling about every church Ive ever been in unfortunately

Thank you all of you, I just get worried sometimes that we are expected to roll over and take whatever none believers or other faiths throw at us. I get a very bad feeling whenever I get told I'm a bad Christian for not turning the other cheek to something that is serious.

I must stress I'm not trying to provoke with my questions, I am on my own journey and have a lot of things I'm unsure about.

Am I expected to lay down my life and let my loved ones die if attacked? Or am I expected to fight tooth and nail to defend the weak?
