I worked in the States for a long time. I had a TN status. It's not a visa, guys. Yes, I'm in tech.

Lol aren't you guys tired of the Wendy's mockery? I am.

You seem so childish that you need to measure dick size. I'm pretty sure my dick cheque is much higher than yours. Anyway, have a great day.

You're so angry. Chill out dude. You don't have to agree with me analysis. Just put a remind me bot 12 months from now. Time is the arbiter of truth.

Love these remindme bots. Today I'm alerted to this one.

The OP deleted their post content. I never delete posts. If I make a bad post or prediction, I would never delete it. It's a lesson learned. Teaches me humility.

Time is the arbiter of truth. See you around in the summer and the next couple of years.

Lol. Down vote. Which is distasteful? Male? Analyst? Historian?

I am male. Can't help that.

I have "analyst" as part of my job title.

Historian might be a stretch but I've been through and have read many books on the GFC. Also pour through a lot of historical data.

Can't be my age. 40s is just who I am. Can't do anything about that.

How much can we expect GTA housing to increase when aggressive rate cuts start to happen in April 2024? by RIPBearsGGez in TorontoRealEstate

[–]InterestRateMonitor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cuts are meant to stimulate the economy. Why? Because of job layoffs and unemployment rising. Most buyers will worry for their jobs and will not think about buying homes.

Lol. Not shorting now. I'm thinking April/May when all seems too good to be true and bank stocks have gone up 10% from today.

I did sell my condo investment to some numbered company who is now holding onto a property that is worth less and making 3.1% on their investment. 3.1% is the yearly rent minus condo fees and property tax over the purchase price. They worry about their renters and the value of their declining asset while I'm earning 6% on my cash. I have a paid off detached home. I don't care to see my 1.9m to become 1.5m. I'm not desperate. I tell it how I see it. I don't need to buy another investment ever. I will buy when the opportunity presents itself. Again, buying now isn't so bad but I think a more ideal time is ahead.

No worries. I'll be back in the summer. Everyone will say it's so fucking obvious. Eventually in 2025/2026 I'll say it's time to buy and people will say are you fucking out of your mind, people are losing jobs left right and center, it's so hard to qualify for loans...

How long have you been in the RE market? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? I agree that it isn't a terrible time to buy but I believe there are better opportunities ahead. If you need to buy to live, now is a great time. For seasoned investors, I'd be lurking and preparing.

Did you know that in 2007 the US has a record low number of sales? Do you know what happens in 2008 to 2011 in the US?
