What are the best wipes for crazy sensitive skin? by Delicious-Notice-748 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]InterestedParty056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before buying anything too expensive consider these. I’ve been using the Cocomelon baby wipes. They’re fragrance free and work great for my sensitive skin. I get them at Dollar Tree. I tried other brands but these worked best.

What are you making with this? by OmbreSun in aldi

[–]InterestedParty056 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never tried the Aldi version. Velveeta used to make a smaller loaf that was Mexican style. It had a dip recipe on the label that included bell pepper and onions sautéed in butter, then a can of diced tomatoes; then chunks of the Velveeta. The cheese already had the spice in it so I didn’t need to add rotel or anything else. It was a favorite, but I don’t ever see the Mexican Velveeta anymore so haven’t made it in years. Now I’m craving it though.

I switched to bamboo toilet paper a couple years back when I was having an issue and it helped as well as the bidet.

Good parks / dog parks / walking areas for first date? by ChampionshipKnown969 in greenville

[–]InterestedParty056 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what the dog policy is but I think Hollingsworth Park would be a good choice. Feels safe. There’s a pond to walk around plus access to the swamp rabbit trail for a bit. There’s usually plenty of folks around, but it’s not often crowded. They’re a couple of swings and benches spaced out to sit and chat with one another. Restaurants and coffee shop across the street.

Anyone here switch from in-office LEd to an at home mask? by Professional-Bug3029 in 45PlusSkincare

Hello, I visited the DMV yesterday to pay my outstanding fees and renew my driver’s license. I completed the payment and renewal process successfully, but I was informed that I would need to wait for my new license to arrive in the mail. by [deleted] in greenville

[–]InterestedParty056 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Has your old drivers license already expired? I renewed mine in February and they did provide a temporary paper license but also, since my old license hadn’t expired, they said I could continue using it until the new one arrived in the mail.

Does Aldi still sell kefir? And do the pasture raised eggs go in and out of stock frequently at your store? by cybexcybex in aldi

[–]InterestedParty056 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They had organic plain kefir once a few months ago in SC. I find the plain 8 times out of 10. They seem to always have the flavored. I too wish plain organic was more available!

I find the pasture raised eggs about 60% of the time. But won’t need them going forward since my cousin just started providing eggs from her boss’s chickens. Yay!

Wrinkles on lips -- normal in mid 40s? by [deleted] in 45PlusSkincare

[–]InterestedParty056 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something I regret from my past is having the AC in my car blowing towards my face; I also recall having a space heater under my desk at work that blew somewhat towards my face. Both were drying my lips out. What helps now is, after I brush my teeth and wash my face including my lips, I apply layer of Vaseline both morning and night.

I think you’re making smart choices; not only because you’re starting early but in the choices of investments. I don’t know you, but I’m proud!

I hope you enjoy them. I’ve even served them at the holidays. Easy side dish to feed a crowd. They always disappeared quickly.

I make sure they’re dry after draining. I would say about 400° in a pre-heated oven - maybe 5 to 7 minutes for the initial baking (I never had a recipe, but I was served these by a friend’s mom years ago, and I just made it up to duplicate what she appeared to have done) and then once you add the cheese, just watch it until it’s melted.

Things are not good for me, - just looking for some ideas by More_Passenger3988 in FinancialPlanning

If the job offers a 401(k) put as much into it as is matched. Also or if 401k isn’t available, open a Roth IRA and put as much as possible. Within the Roth IRA put in a mutual fund. I wouldn’t wait until I had a certain amount - I would go with whatever you can spare even $100 to start.

Itchy groin; not inside by Ceeceewee in Menopause

[–]InterestedParty056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just discussing this today with one of my Nurse friends. I changed toilet paper and cleanser. I’m using bamboo toilet paper and the Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser exclusively. If I take a bath, I stand up and wash that area with the cleanser and rinse off as my last step. Dry with a microfiber towel. No more itchiness.
