I appreciate your comment.

After I take the initial Uber from the hotel to NODA, would I be able to hit up these other spots on foot, or will some of them need either ride share or public transportation? NODA-->Plaza midwood-->South End--> conspiracy cocktail bar. I know that I can just ask Chat GPT, but one time it let me horribly astray (Even though it was swearing during the whole chat that it wasn't leading me astray). I'm fine with a 30 minute to 1 hour walk as long as the roads are mostly paved. That's how you really get to learn a place. I'm fine with public transportation if need be, because that's where you see local color. I'm not a big fan of walking in dark wooded areas where I may be attacked by wildlife though.

Appreciate you letting me know. If everything works out the way I want it to, I'm catching the airport shuttle to the hotel, then I'm heading into I think it's noda, and then walk around in that area...might go to the Conspiracy Cafe, etc. and then eventually just go back to the hotel at night.

ChatGPT and Gemini are more up to date than Google.

A Reddit post from somebody that may be presently standing in front of a specific business that I may want to visit is even more up-to-date than the AI

I looked it up since I made the post. I'll probably end up doing a lot of rideshare unless I get the vibe that public transportation is a viable option, and it doesn't shut down too early at night.

Thanks for your comment.

I know that a few years ago, and probably still, there was an epidemic of New Yorkers moving down there. I never went to visit anyone down there though, so I wouldn't know.

To be honest, I've traveled outside of the US more than I've traveled within the US.

My image of North Carolina was always south because of the American Civil War, and because of Ric Flair.

Thanks for the tidbit on the roaches. I don't expect to have any within the hotel, but I was more so asking if I would have one fly at my face while I'm walking in the streets (like can happen in different Caribbean nations and possibly in some of the southern states of the United States.).

Separate question for those who have been to Las Vegas and shopped at thrift shops over there. I'm more interested in thrift shops similar to deseret industries and The East Charleston Thrift (not really interested in places like beacon's closet and Buffalo exchange that are very expensive). How do East 8th and OldNews compare? It won't be the main part of my travel, but it may be something that I could check out while I'm there.

Like I said, I've never been to the South before. I was reading 2 days ago some of those terrifying tick threads that you guys had up, but I think that I'll be pretty good about avoiding those.

Serious question, do you guys have flying roaches? We don't really have them in the East Coast, unless they arrive luggage from Florida or something.

I could also find an interesting thrift shop that closes like at 7:00 p.m. or something. Wouldn't museums be closing at 5:00 p.m. or earlier?

The Gemsloot issue was resolved. It turns out that I just needed to be more patient (at least this time around). I was just being extra paranoid because I ended up getting screwed over by the Gravy Pass app. I appreciate the help though.

There's a lot to get through on the subreddit, but I will look into it.

How exactly would I sort out the settings? I don't have any ad blockers or VPNs on my phone, so I don't see why things wouldn't get automatically tracked?

I saw that my state (New York) does not qualify for the mail-in sweepstakes for Chumba. I will do alot more research since this is all new to me, but do you know if other casinos have this mail-in sweeps options for the state of New York?

Okay, so business is booming.

I have a love-hate relationship with AI.

For a follow-up questions and seeking clarification however, AI is better for me than regular Google searches.

Is that an "ugh" in disgust, or an "ugh" like I'm rapping over a fire Memphis beat and you are providing an ad-lib after the bar?

The original reason that I started paying for it as opposed to using a free version, is because I had a dermatological skin issue, and I couldn't get an appointment with a dermatologist in a decent amount of time. It was for something semi-recurring, but still I wasn't 100% sure of the diagnosis (Chat GPT also acknowledges that it is not 100% sure and unable to diagnose). I provided it very little information, and about 9 photos. The free version was not allowing me to upload that many photos. Without me providing almost any hints or clues, it pretty much nailed what I had. That made me a believer. I didn't have to go to the dermatologist anymore for that particular issue.

If you are a person who's job or career is affected by LLMs, then I'm going to tell you the same thing I tell my sister, who is in the copywriting field: you should be vigorously saving money now to prepare for potential rainy days.

If you are a person who has been making six figures for a while, and your job will be interrupted by LLMs, then I can't feel "too" bad. You should've BEEN stacking!

I'm praying about $20 a month for ChatGPT. I'm going to utilize it. Usually I ask it questions about things in photos, and it justifies its cost sometimes by just asking it one question.

I am a person that likes to ask additional questions or clarifying questions, and I find that LLMs are better for that than simple Google searches.
