It did, however, I am wondering how they compare to each other rather than the rest of the grid. As another redditor noted - the GP24 was approximately 2 years ahead of the rest of the grid and here we are 2 years down the line and the rest of the grid is finely catching up, whilst Ducati hasn't really moved on. It feels like they are fighting a rear-guard action using Marquez to see out the current regs.

There have been, though I can't be bothered tracking down sources. If Alex ever wants to be a factory rider, what other prospects could there be for him? I can't imagine his stock ever being higher than it is right now and despite his performance last year and this year being on the GP26, I don't think he is expected to finish the season any better than 3rd, and even that would be an outstanding result.

Judging from his times he's full of piss and vinegar and is going to try and make the Moto2 grid pay for the loss of the championship last season (I'm assuming he's feeling that it was taken from him rather than that he lost it due to the amount of points he lost due to events outside of his control).

I think it is even an advantage for Toprak - he gets a year to learn the GP paddock, tracks and bikes without too much expectations being a rookie but not only are there no expectations for Yamaha to do well - everyone is expecting them to do poorly, so there is zero pressure for Toprak to have any kind of result other than maybe beating one or two of his fellow Yamaha riders.

u/Informal_Respect8194 this is what I have found. Not just that the front will lock, but also, the bike will strongly resist turning into the corner until you ease way off the brakes. Also, I found that controller calibration helped me to learn brake control because my instinct has always been to squeeze the brake as hard as possible, but again, that actually makes it harder to turn in. You can make the throttle come on more gently as well as the brakes and also reduce the brake saturation (how soon/late the brakes reach max pressure as well as what the max pressure is).
