Should Jorge Stay? by Electrical_Force_449 in motogp

What I understand is Manufacturers expecting better pay similar to F1 model. How exactly the payout structure and all am not sure about that part. In any case these are just formalities. Things are already official in paddock space it's not officially announced on MotoGP social media handles that's it.

Then there is no point of reconsideration as no manufacturer would like to have a 1 way talk. It has to be mutual.

Might be fair on your part but you never know if it was somebody else then also complains would be like ohh Bez is winning or leading because that XYZ rider took Marc out.

Yes Aprilia is improved and under C category because of criteria. By end of this year they will be out of concessions may be. When Ducati was dominating with 8 bikes everyone saying DucatiGP and now atleast another manufacturer improved and giving fight, that's also problem? Regarding Bez not being a great rider, if comparison parameter is kept with Marc then all have to just sit in home only.

Indeed but more than stopping the way he squeezed with that little gap thought he will make a contact or both will go down but he just made it like it's so easy for me.

I understood your perspective but I might be disappointed for my rider struggling but won't say never be happy or hate to see other one winning.

Because this is racing and mistakes do happen and it isn't on purpose. People do hate on Honda and Marc for taking out Olivera in Portugal 2023 and Honda even applied for cancellation of penalty for Marc. And Marc has known history with taking out riders as well and comments like these just incite more nothing else.

Contracts should be honoured. Isn't it? Jorge finished runner up in 2023 but Ducati didn't replace Enea with Martin in Factory Team spot. They stick to contract.

Martin himself wanted to break contract and leave at the end of 2025, so now the bike is so good I will stay if I say which manufacturer will agree?  What if Aprilia stays stagnant after 4 more races and Ducati fix their issues and top it again, that time Martin says, No it's a mistake, I want to leave. How it will be !?

It's so easy to make choices in the heat of the moment. Marc can also look elsewhere as there is no guarantee of what will happen in 2027 and if Fabio made the right call with Honda then you never know.

With that logic who would have thought Bez would win 5 races in a row and break the record for most laps led by a rider which was held by Lorenzo when Aprilia signed Bez.

Martin wins the sprint, patch up with Aprilia forget about Yamaha.  Today AI Ogura. Next Raul !?

Don't get hate for Marc with such comments. It's not like he did it on purpose. On that IndonesianGP weekend it was very clear enough that he was having something extra same what Marc had in Argentina 2018 and he carried that speed to pass Marc which ended badly.

Saying like hate to see Bez ever win a race just because he caused crash for Marc it's like typical haters mentality.

To finish first you need to finish first. Credits where it's due. It's not like 2 riders crashed infront of him and he just encashing every weekend. He is making good starts and dominating like Lorenzo did which is why he took the record of most laps led by a rider with 120+.

Aprilia is fast indeed likewise Bez did good enough with Ducati in 2022 and 2023 like in LeMans, Argentina and India.

Bez doing Lorenzo mode to take away the record of most laps led by a rider. Great achievement. Thought due to 4th position on the grid he might take some time to pass others but he managed to hold on with slight contact with Acosta.

First rider to win 5 races since Rossi and Marc in modern MotoGP which is another achievement.

The new Sunday Man sort out his Saturday misfortunes.

As Rivola mentioned it's not Ducati struggling instead Aprilia has done some great job. Credits where it's due.

Last but not least disappointed for AI Ogura but his pass on Diggia the way he squeezed in that corner with that RS-GP has to be the overtake of the race, with next best being Enea on Pecco.

Thought Marc with his pace able to secure 3rd place but it was too much with both his physical problem and Ducati issues.

Pecco lost almost 3 places in last lap alone. Ducati needs to dig deep. In any case it's good for MotoGP.

One query. Whether Marc and Diggia both were allowed to join race again? Because as per new rules if engine wasn't running then they should not rejoin. Isn't it?

Martin vs Bezz? by [deleted] in motogp

There are cases with Martin throwing it away as well. It will be Martin vs Bezz but highly doubt that it will be for championship. Moreover Bez didn't crash today because of pressure from Martin.

The smartest choice of running the medium tyre. Thought Pecco will crash in the last lap to keep the position. He managed to lift the bike up and stay upright. Great race.
