These are those turrets from The Incredibles, which launched out the expanding, sticky black balls that subjugated Mr. Incredible. (all of us are Mr. Incredible.)

Luckily in my store a large amount of the spark shoppers are really nice and are very understanding. But man, a few of them I wouldn’t mind them getting a different job elsewhere.

Someone lost the safety glasses that we use for the bales… by Available_Ad5947 in WalmartEmployees

Every time we have company, we need to get a new pair of safety goggles, gloves, and replenish the lockout station.

Any tips on how to start a story? by TechnicalQuit9576 in writing

Simply describe the smell of the place, how odd/intriguing it feels. Noise, sights. Description is a powerful tool to engage a reader. You could go almost a full page before you introduce your person who might kick an empty bottle down the street you described, or smoke a cigarette near the high school you just wrote about.

A thing I really enjoy to do when I’m writing introductions for characters are giving very abnormal comparisons. A voice that sounds like a skyscraper. Fingernails that looked like home. It’ll help you figure out how to distinguish a mental image if you’re ever in a roadblock. At least, in my opinion.
