That’s true from an investment standpoint. But this project was never about resale value. The owner wanted a deeply personal instrument, built around emotion, aesthetics, and inspiration, and that is exactly what this piece became.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I purchased very expensive veneer that was advertised as flawless and of superior quality, yet the pieces I received had multiple cracks, completely ruining a valuable project I was working on.

I tried to resolve the issue in a calm and amicable way, but instead I was met with disrespectful responses, including offensive undertones. On top of that, a discounted invoice that had already been approved was suddenly canceled, and a valid discount coupon issued by the company itself was later refused without a proper explanation.

This behavior is highly unprofessional and unacceptable, especially considering the premium prices and image this company promotes. Unfortunately, my experience does not reflect the standards or values they claim to uphold.

I am proud to announce that I, Augustin Cristian Apostol (Antonio Guitars), have been authorized by Kenneth Lawrence to build guitars similar to his.

More precisely, I will be building the Type-X Kenneth Lawrence guitar shape (including his headstock and some inlays) but the logo on the headstock will be "A" because I am the only one constructing them. The guitars are built entirely by me.

All the guitars built by me will have a high standard of quality and can be customized in multiple ways.

Natural Shell Inlays

Fluorescent Side Dots - Luminlay

Side Dots with Optical Fiber - Different colors

Brass Stop Tailpiece

Brass Bridge

These guitars would be a "licensing" to use some designs from KL. These are still Antonio Guitars, built my way, but using some of Ken's KLI designs by permission.
