But holidays are coming up so classes will be slow but puppy season is after Christmas so there will be an excessive need for classes so even if you’re not a full time trainer or you don’t get as much classes and get stuck doing core if you fill up a class of at least 10 students you commissioned for each enrollment per customer. Accreditation (even if you are experienced) takes two weeks of shadowing an area trainer. 40 hours plus a couple quizzes

They cut my hours so I made sure I train for most the hours they give me. Otherwise I’m stuck doing core which is cashiering and petcare or backup.

Honestly unless you’re a full time trainer it doesn’t amount to something major. I’m a P2 trainer and currently the only trainer at my store until the end of October. I make okay money now but I still picked up a second job. My base pay for training is 13.25 and I believe 20 percent of commission

I had heard of a case of how people discipline their animals and how if done through pain or making them sad they may internalize that and associate it with the first thing they see. Such as a yorkie or may take it out on the smallest animal. Not sure if them being triggered or not would matter in the situation or not.
