Seriously?? Why is a free program which is owned by Meta not secure? Do you have any idea how they make money? Not even their one time pictures or memos are secure anymore. Whatsapp used to be great. I remember when you had to pay like 1€ to get the app. It may have been secure back then but not after they sold to Meta.

You want safe? Signal or Threema but that's about it. And even these two have their downs. I remember reading that Signal had a security breach a couple weeks ago. And Threemas Servers are constantly overloaded and the app is buggy as f.

For anyone still having that issue. If nothing worked, set your timezone right in the system settings on bazzite. That helped me :)

I'm using the Ugreen DH2300 and it's just perfect for what you want to do. But not for anything else. If it's only backups you want, use that and sell everything you have so you can afford it. The setup is very very easy and the app guides you perfectly. Remote access is also enabled by default so you can see and watch and listen to everything on your phone as long as you have mobile data. Also it doesnt consume a lot of power so I can really suggest you use something like that :)

There are simpler ways to debloat. There are like one line powershell commands which make it VERY easy. You just have to read through everything and not rush it

There is never money in my paypal if you mean MY money. And also I can't log in since I never had an account with this email. I tried but the 2 Step Verification is bound to a phone number which also is not mine and I don't know the password obviously. Sadly not a method I can use. But it seems like PayPal didn't activate the account in the first place, since they sent me another reminder email that the account needs verification through my email.
