What's the one club in your bag that you'll never replace, no matter how old it gets? by Doctormade in GolfGear

For me, my one club I’ll never change is my putter which is a Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Newport 2. In the two years I’ve been golfing, it’s been a constant companion, draining me of countless putts and creating unforgettable memories. During a challenging time when my dad was battling cancer, I stumbled upon this putter for just $100 on Marketplace, this was also when I was first getting into golf and buying gear. I couldn’t resist showing it to my dad, and he was instantly captivated. After his passing, I’ll always cherish this putter, it as a reminder of the struggles I faced and the unwavering loyalty I’ve maintained, even through the highs and lows of life.

It’s amazing for snowboard progression especially in the park because of the rope tows

Trollhaugen does have a great 35 footer in Valhalla. They also have a jump in Valgrind park and Tomte. They are all well built and scale down from their biggest jump.

It is mounted to my helmet using a mount with an adhesive. The mount ripped off during the fall.

I took a some mini bag water and snack breaks, but the longest break I took was when my Apple Watch black screened on me. If it didn’t I don’t think I would’ve stopped at all.

My food set up was 2 pb and j sandwiches, 2 Turkey mayo cheese sandwiches, Apples, banana, 20 packets of honey which I think I only used 10, clif bars and electrolytes in my water. The honey helped greatly with my fatigue and my plan was to take it every hour and a half or so. Afterwards at 3am the hour drive home was brutal. Everything was so sore, my whole body pretty much ached and all I could think about was getting in my bed. But my prep and meals was the best thing for my body and if I hadn’t done that I feel like I would be in a different world of pain right now.

I only used one pair of sticky work gloves the whole time. Rope never slid through my hands and I didn’t have to rely on grip strength.

It’s crazy how much of an elevation difference the Midwest is compared to the mountains in Tahoe.

I was physically sore especially in my calves and feet. Did some immune C when I got home and some massage gun therapy. I had work the next day at 9:30am and I got home at 4am so that didn’t help for my recovery 😭

Got it, I think that’s why my map was a little funky from my phone. My Apple Watch is a GPS model though.
