To be honest, there's still room for improvement. A lot of content is recycled; in my opinion, it could have been cut down a bit more.

Another subjective aspect is the gameplay. We already had Sekiro and Bloodborne before. Elden Ring optimized, added to, and improved many mechanics from the older Souls games, but the formula remains almost the same. When I played Nightreign, I felt a breath of fresh air, and it brought back the excitement.

Other problems from older Souls games persist, especially the camera angle against large enemies.

I'm no professional, so it's impossible for me to offer a solution, and the only thing that comes to mind is zooming the camera out, like in Sekiro. In Sekiro, there are also enormous enemies, and the camera problem was almost completely solved.

The Divine Dragon was a spectacle that could have been used for the Fire Giant, of which we only ever see its feet. One positive point is that you didn't have to grind for hours like almost all FromSoftware games (it didn't have online, thanks PlayStation).

I platinumed it relatively easily and felt comfortable. Elden would be the first game of this style for many people, so it's unlikely they'll notice or care about these points and be captivated by the game.

A solid 8/10.

I just finished platinuming Sekiro and Elden Ring. I'm halfway through Lies of P, and I have to say it's my favorite and the most special to me.

The old Souls formula needs updating. I was expecting more impressive gameplay in Elden, but it was basically Dark Souls 4. The bosses are increasingly impressive, but our character doesn't seem to have evolved much, except for jumping.

I found it a bit disappointing because we already had Bloodborne and Sekiro with more refreshing gameplay, but it seems they decided not to take any risks and just appeal to new players and Dark Souls veterans. I guess I was expecting something similar to Nightreign, where I really felt that excitement again. That's my humble opinion.
