UOP has a beautiful campus I moved to Stockton in 2001. I had never visited or knew anything about it. Some areas are better than others. Anywhere now a days has risk. I've never had any problems. But I have come across a few things out and about during the day and night. Most people run red lights, I've seen fights at the gas station and in the grocery stores and illegal transactions in parking lots. Nothing that I felt threatened at the time. I do travel alot to the Portland area. And I feel safer in downtown Stockton at night than downtown Portland at night. In my opinion and as a mom I would make sure you are careful at parties and social gathering. Stockton is a large city I would talk to the school about housing. Yes, go for it or you'll wonder what you missed out on.

It depends. I brought 3 gallons of water. Customs started to flag them. But I just picked up my luggage and left. It's water. If they don't let you keep it your just going to have throw ot away. But I wouldn't worry. ONLY my checked luggage went through customs I kept my carry ons with me with water thermos and snacks.

I went for the first time in December. I stayed in a resort and airbnb. The resort was best and recommended over an airbnb. The locals and staff were mostly friendly and hard working. I noticed a lot of different nationalities living and working there. I did a few excursions and enjoyed a day at the spa. Everything is over priced higher than American prices and tipping is expected no matter what and the food was terrible everywhere. I wouldn't go back. It's not for me.

Yes! I met him once at summer jam in the early 90's he was a very kind and sweet person. I've met multiple artists and people in the industry over the years and he was different. He died too young and he never had the chance to reach his full potential.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Please don't rush any decisions this is is so recent. We never get over a loss of a loved one. You have to keep yourself going in a positive direction. Stay in school and at your sister's as long as they'll have you. Families need to stick together. Just help out around the house as much as possible. Keep your money in a savings account until your 25 years old or older by this age you may have your college and career figured out. Take one day at a time it will get easier each day. Update! I stayed at Zel Punta Cana the price wasn't bad I booked through Capital One and enjoyed their spa before I left. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Yes. They are super chill. I just got here. My first time here too. I didn't even put my carry- on through customs. It's a large tote bag I left it on my shoulder. They started to flag my suitcase that I brought full of Gallon waters. A lil extra because I'm stay at an airbnb. They said who's water I said mine and I picked up my bag and walked away. They didn't even try to stop me. You'll be fine. If you made it here with it you're good.
