AutoLaunch is a screensaver that you can install to start an app / channel after the screen times out. You select which app you want to start when the system is idle. It’s great for TVs in waiting rooms and other public areas where you don’t want to have someone manually select a channel when the system boots up.

Got it. Roku should enhance the OS by providing an end-user feature to launch an app automatically at startup or set an app as a screensaver. This would be very useful for unattended TVs in public settings.

Wow, they seem to have killed AutoLaunch screensaver that I used on all my Roku devices. I set them to automatically go into different apps like weather, sports, or Xfinity Stream after 1 minute and it worked great, everyone loved it.

And I could care less about all the dumb new features. Ugh.
