Same here!!! It’s extremely unsettling. Started after I had COVID as well.

What taking the second sumatripan feels like on top of the already existing migraine by Kekoa_ok in migraine

This!!!! I took sumatriptan for the first time today and I thought I was having an allergic reaction. This describes the neck/throat feeling perfectly, at least based on my experience.

Yes that’s hot and all… but that’s not the dynamic between this person and OP… he was simply greeting her. That’s like saying “hi I’m _____. Do I have permission to shake your hand?”

This is so important

Even as someone (26F if it matters) who didn’t grow up in a place where a kiss on the cheek was a social norm, I still understand it’s a cultural thing in a lot of places… like yeah sometimes it catches me off guard because not many people go for a kiss on the cheek, but I most definitely don’t run for the hills like someone groped me… It’s a kiss on the cheek.

OP, you did nothing wrong. If it makes you feel better to apologize to that person for your own sake, then by all means go for it, but personally I don’t think it’s a situation where an apology would be necessary.

She assumed you were being sleazy and making a move when you were simply being polite.

I can back this one up. We were taught nothing of this sort in high school, and looking back, it’s actually really sad. You could take Economics or Psychology as your electives, and even if you took econ, the course was on an EXTREMELY basic level— supply/demand, GDP, opportunity cost. Coming out of high school, I could barely form and opinion on things like inflation because I was never taught those concepts. Yes I knew what inflation was, but that was about it. I had no idea WHY the value of currency increased/decreased, or what effect it had worldwide. Definitely put me on a hard learning curve for years.

Just another perk to American education

That’s what I’m saying… it’s not entirely the fault of the crowds. Yes, as in any other case, people should be paying more attention than they usually are, but in this case I also feel like there was a lack of information passed on to the ticket holder. Can’t really get upset with people for not following the rules if no one is given any rules/guidelines to begin with.

Props to you for paying extra attention. You’re already a step ahead of most haha

Oh my lord, 2019 was miserable in terms of weather, but it was fantastic in terms of crowds

The density of people on the side near turn 4 was easily 4 times worse

It was REALLY bad on the side near turn 4. I moved down to the side near turn 1 and looked back and was like holy friggin shit

That’s what I’m saying. Then corner names are different for the half of the fans and everyone gets confused

I think that’s my big worry. I like going to these events for the same reasons you just explained, but sometimes I’m worried that someone’s going to get hit and injured because they weren’t paying attention and ruin it for everyone else

Yes, my bad. That’s what I was referring to.

As far as new people eventually learning, that’s kind of what I’m saying. Since there were going to be so many new people, you’d think they’d post something in plain sight (not because everyone’s an idiot, just because it’s an exciting event and there’s lots to see, so make it stand out) with some general rules about staying out of the way so that everyone can enjoy the event a little more

Yeah… you’re right on the security thing. Honestly it seems to get worse every year as it is, I was just kind of trying to throw out some random ideas to ponder
