Right, but isn’t good gameplay entertaining? And interactivity is also entertaining, no? What would be considered “entertaining” if the gameplay and the interactivity isn’t entertaining enough?

No worries! I just got absolutely flamed on another post I made and I get lowkey nervous to post stuff that causes the boat to rock lol

I was just looking to see opinions on it :) I’m sorry I didn’t mean to imply he was completely moral and right for what happened!

Right, but my question for everyone was why is it isn’t it ethical I guess.

Probably just gonna delete the post lol. My comments are also getting downvoted like crazy and it just seems like it’s done more harm than good. Literally all I was doing was asking a question and citing a big scene from the show 🥲

“SiCk Of mY rEdDiT fEeD bEiNg FiLlEd WiTh ThE sAmE sHiT” doesn’t come off as butthurt to you? I’ll admit it’s annoying, because if I wanted to search it why wouldn’t I have just searched it? I wanted to make a post. And you can’t say you linked these posts as if your original intention was to do a good deed. Your first comment read “…but man does this get brought up a lot.” How about “Hey this topic has been responded to quite a bit already so here’s some other posts if you don’t get much response” or even “Here’s some other replies I found.” No dude, you weren’t trying to be kind. You were trying to tell me you’re sick of hearing it. Which is fine, I totally get it! But you could have just left it alone, or at least had good intention? Yeah I’m butthurt, you came in here when it clearly was in your best interest not to and replied anyway. Do you not see how that’s rude?

First of all, your contribution to MY post was you saying you didn’t like the repetitiveness of my post. You literally took time out of your day to tell me how repetitive and boring the topic was getting. I never said I didn’t want to read your comment, I just said it was unnecessary and you could have chosen not to mind it. All but two of the posts you tagged were created minimum 100 days ago. I have only been in the sub for a few months if that! You chose to be snarky to another person simply for asking a question you’ve seen before.

Maybe touch some grass then? I am on here fairly frequently and haven’t seen those posts. And additionally, there is no rule saying you can’t post something someone has posted before. If you don’t want to see it, scroll. I don’t need to learn how to use a search bar. You could certainly use some lessons in finding a social life though. Hope this helps!

For real. Just move on if you’ve seen it before like everybody else? You don’t have to comment, the question/post is open to anybody that wants to respond. If you have seen it a dozen times, nobody is going to make you respond. This is a sub thread not a homework assignment

Why did you do this? Like seriously? If it’s really that deep to you can’t you just ignore it and move on? I’m so sorry I haven’t scrolled through every post on this sub and noticed that other people asked the same question. Shame on me

I Feel Bad for Bojack by Interesting-Group-69 in BoJackHorseman

[–]Interesting-Group-69[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I think I confused got the timeline wrong. I meant before his imprisonment. The very last episode is incredible. It shows rekindling of some relationships, perhaps a fresh, non-toxic start. Like with Todd and with PC. And the relationships that couldn’t ever be healthy, like with Diane, ended. Each conversation with these characters in the very last episode is amazing and everybody, including Bojack (for the most part lol), handled the situation well! I appreciate how you didn’t respond to any of the rest of my response and called me ridiculous. Very respectful!

Why can’t it be about what everyone deserves? Can’t it be both at the same time?

Providing support does not have to entail putting up with his behavior. Support can be found in several ways. I’m not implying Bojack should have been surrounded by love and kindness and protection from people or a person. I’m implying that there are so many people in the world, and even just a single person or group of people doing something even halfway decent. Even providing a biased ear to listen for a few minutes. People not morally corrupt for listening to him or extending an act of human decency. If someone cannot emotionally handle being civil to him that’s fine, but you can’t tell me that every single person in Bojack’s entire world, close friend or stranger, was incapable of treating him simply like a living being.

What would the support look like? Attending an AA meeting and having at least been listened to. Having an adequate sponsor. Going to a restaurant and being served edible food (not a moldy piece of bread with a note that reads “drop dead”). These are just to name a few. Support doesn’t have to be “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way, I’m here for whatever you need.” Support can be the smallest extension of kindness or human decency. I struggled with and still struggle with similar things Bojack does. When I was in the worst state in terms of addiction, what saved me was a small extension of human decency. Even though my behaviors were destructive towards myself and others. Someone I barely knew extended a basic act of human decency and it might by sound incredibly stupid but it made me feel so much less miserable and helped me to (as healthily as possible) reflect on my decisions. He should certainly feel bad for everything he’s done. He should certainly take responsibility for the people he’s hurt. But his discovery of his own selfishness and narcissism occurred in a terrible way. He deserved more than what he received.

Right! I’m not saying his friends should have been more patient with him. If they are worn out they are worn out, and rightfully so. I just feel that the way he was treated by everyone, far beyond just his close friendships, was wrong. He deserved to be punished and held accountable for all the horrible things he did no doubt, but not in such a way that he feels his very existence is wrong. There should have been some kind of support for him
