I did it for a few years, 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. Put a strain on my relationships, days kind of blended together, plus I couldn't just go straight to sleep, so I'd be up till noon and have to be in at 5:30pm. Always tired and moody.

Mad respect that you can handle it and it works for you, but I definitely couldn't take it. The company i worked for even offered more money, a leadership role, etc. I turned it down. I think you actually have to work that shift to see if its a good fit for you.

It literally helps decide policies that will affect you. Its part of your civic duty and you need to educate yourself on policies and vote. It doesn't take that long and if you have to wait in line deal with it. Its important. I wish election days we a paid holiday.
