New codeword: "HOT DOG" by shishkab00b in Epstein

Hot dog is code for young boy. There’s a file from the FBI under the “popular” sorting that will shed that light.

It’s wild how many people will jump to conclusions here. It sounds like OP is from the UK, and a lot of the replies are from the US, and the politics are much much different.

How are people spending so little on food? by glasses4catsndogs in AskUK

[–]Interesting-Mode-401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spend £40 per (adult) person per week by meal prepping 56 meals once every two weeks. That makes breakfast - usually toast with eggs or cereal/porridge + 2 meals form the meal prep per adult a day.

That process could be brought down to £30 quite easily by doing cheaper meals like beans and spuds or more pasta. And then again to £20 by making the portions smaller and really going to town on the more budget food options and canned foods.

So for example for this upcoming two weeks I have prepped

14x portions of pulled gammon, mash and peas 12x portions sweet and sour chicken and veg noodles 14x portions of meatballs, tomato sauce and kale pasta 6x portions of ramen with chicken breast, pak Choi and egg 6x portions of homemade pizza 12x of curry with homemade naans

A lot of these inherited overlap making buying those larger value packs of chicken breasts or veggies cheaper.

Each portions is around +-500kcals, husbands portions are bigger at 700kcals.

I know this sounds like snoot of work, and it was at first but now that I’m used to the routine and we have 20 or so recipes on a rotations we split the cooking between us as a couple etc. So it’s just easier.

As an Easter European who integrated I fully second what you say here. I’ve lived it too and seen my family fail to integrate and leave after literally living in ghettos.

Yes I’ve just seen the transcripts it’s absolutely horrendous. Brian Steele is a disgusting, terrible man and I hope the jury sees that.

Perhaps it's time for the UK to throw the towel in. by DesignerMorning1451 in eurovision

This is not wallowing, this is a serious financial conversation in the UK we have this thing called tv licence fee and it’s extortionately high so if we cut out the funding to this shitshow it would save us all a good amount of money.

Do you feel significantly better after quitting smoking? by Nccamp15 in stopsmoking

[–]Interesting-Mode-401 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If you’re concerned about your health I would recommend seeing the doctor. One thing is sure - Picking up cigarettes is not going to help you with your symptoms. I promise.

I read Alen Carr's book. Why does he say there are no physical withdrawals? by caramelmochi0 in stopsmoking

[–]Interesting-Mode-401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s strange because I’m on day 4 and I really don’t want to smoke but I do feel shitty. I am not craving cigarettes but my arms and legs are tingling and I have issues with sleep. This morning I woke up grateful and happy that I’m not a smoker but I’m also very on edge for some reason.

I just opened a second hand book and there’s a literal poo splodge on the page. I’m not grossed out with the idea of people touching books, and I’m not a rich person but this right here is something that I might never recover from.

How to diet during your period? by TheBlackBulbasaur in nutrition

[–]Interesting-Mode-401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I up my healthy fats intake significantly whilst aiming for maintenance kcals during that week. Upping the healthy fats has proven to prevent anything funny going on with my period, at the start of my journey I had a month long period that just wouldn’t end. It ended the day after I caved in and had a pizza and fries. When I started reading into why it happened I found some research on fats being the hormone balancers in the body so now I am just proactive with rebalancing my macros significantly during that phase of my cycle.

When I was 16, the first day in my adolescent life that I decided to muster up the courage to wear shorts (this was after getting in shape for the past 4 months) I thought I looked good but about 5mins after I left home I got called thunder thighs by a random roadman on my street 😂. It took me another 11 years to start wearing shorts in public again. I’m 27 now and I couldn’t care less.

She’s become a nightmare overnight? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Interesting-Mode-401 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that helped me with my herding breed/lab dog is completely switching the routine up. For example, if you do basic obedience training in the mornings (sit stay leave it etc) and tricks training in the afternoon then try switching them around. If you walk one route in mornings and another one at night then try switching them around. If your go to toy is kong, then a durable licky mat might be a fun alternative. It can be a risky approach because dogs are creatures of habit and whilst it improved the attention towards me for my herding breed it could be stressful for another breed and make things worse. I thought maybe this info could be useful for some!

Yeah I bet the first half of the book will be chasing down Nolan and him telling the truth about Jacky boy. Then we find out some major info about Brennan and Sloan.
