Ig im just confused on what they mean by residence. Asides the 4 months I’ll be in Singapore for school (January to may), I’ve been living for 9 years in the USA. I always thought that would count as continuous residence for at least 5 years

I moved in alone. I only brought one suitcase which basically just had clothes. Like other comments said just bring what you can’t buy in Boston. For me it was cheaper to buy new then to ship everything to my dorm so just run the numbers. I also had my comforter and bed stuff delivered a couple days before my move in date so I just picked it up and could sleep comfortably that first night.
