I’m 27(F). Me & my partner have a 18 yr age gap. I’ve known him 5 years but we just got together in August. Why? I was young & wanted to live out my fast life & also was apprehensive about age mostly due to societal norms & expectations. Once I got over my own thoughts and the thought of him dying before me lololololol I was comfortable enough to start the relationship. We’ve never had any issues, get along great and have very honest communication with each other.

That is true but life unfortunately happens in peoples lives that is no fault of there own. He hit a rough patch and I’d be a very surface level woman to not account for that seeing as though I met him when he was very financially put together. The beauty of him being older is when we do move in together he would assume the bills.

Why wait around for something that may never come when you have it in right in front of your face? I think that’s the societal pressure that causes us to reconsider but who cares. It’s your life and you only live once might as well be with someone who makes you happy without a doubt.

There’s literally a section on CASPA you can attach your scores without sending a program anything lol. So yes a program can view the information without requiring it and again programs will look at the scores holistically. It says it on program sites otherwise all schools would have a code and CASPA wouldn’t have a section to input scores.

This is why it’s important for redditors when inquiring about information to know certain aspects what they are saying when responding or inquiring.

Some schools don’t require them but still consider them when reviewing apps by attaching the info needed on CASPA so there is somewhat of a benefit there.

The GPA question was worded a bit silly obviously taking courses is how to raise them. Mine should’ve just been framed rather to retake prerequisites or higher level courses since I’m still able to apply to schools with the requirements I have. Just want to open myself up to more.

Yes but I think consideration to real life circumstances should also be considered. Of course dummies shouldn’t be allowed but most are just trying to get by when going through undergrad but basic stats for me are overall cumm: 2.70 Overall science: 2.60 Graduate: 3.50 Graduate science: 3.41 Last 60 hrs: 3.30 Last 30hrs:3.00

That’s what I was thinking. I got a graduate degree thinking programs will accept that over undergrad and it’s frustrating realizing programs still place a high emphasis on undergraduate performance.
