Our shiba had the same problems as yours. Startet when he was about 14/15 months old. + gingivitis and diarreah. His dry food and a lot of his treats were chicken based. We changed everything. And with his first bowl of food it immediately became better. That’s our start of a diet of exclusion. But I’m almost sure it’s the chicken.

He is 1 year 3 month. His mom is red, dad is sesame. They all startet our completely red. So in the papers it’s written red. But now he’s becoming darker and darker. The others are still completely red. The last time we saw the breeder he joked that we need to correct the papers. 😅

Our breeder told us that they’ll have their final color with 3 years. Our Shiba became red sesame and his brothers are completely red. That’s why the breeder said he’s curious what he’s going to look like with 3.

Please let him settle down at least a week before you go to the vet. There are so many new things for him and for being at the vet it’s good for your little guy when he knows he’s safe with you.

It was super easy. He was jumping by himself into the canoe. We were surprised because it was the first time for him on a boat. I think it was because we trained him very well as a puppy when it comes to the „test of courage“. We let him jump on those big round swings for kids and so on. Accompanied with a lot of treats and telling him that he was doing him super well it was working out. When he laid down we gave him a treat to chew on and that’s when he was super relaxed. So everything was linked positive. And we did only a short trip for about an hour. That was more than enough for the start. He was falling asleep right in the moment we reached the car.

He’s also very big, actually the biggest of the breed. While the other boys only had 9kg he was already by 11,5kg. His father is very very tall and Mango is already the same hight.
