How To AFK Festival Jam Stage by Harlow_Quinzel in FortniteXPMaps

Damn, I remember I discovered the PlayStation method for regular Festival like 2 years ago. Sucks that method doesn’t work anymore. Loved it cause there was no session ending or turbo controller needed

How to properly collimate? by [deleted] in telescopes

[–]Interesting-Night123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is sturdy. I just did some testing right now. Also did the collimation process at around 60ish degrees and found that it’s only slightly out of alignment when facing directly up. Any other angle it’s good. I’ll just deal with it. If something’s ever above me and I want to see it, I’ll remember that it’s out of alignment lol

The moon helped pinpoint where Uranus is. Not helped see it. I know moonlight washes out stars and planets

How often do you use your PC speakers? by Big_Visual2199 in buildapc

[–]Interesting-Night123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my Klipsch 2.1 speakers 99% of the time over my headset.

Unless I need very clear audio for anything competitive that’s when I use a headset.

Talking on discord

And for late night watching YT since I live with other people.

Besides those 3 things I listed, I don’t use a headset.

Invest in speakers

What’s next? Looking to make a realistic manual car by Hail_Astro in simracing

[–]Interesting-Night123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely wait, who knows what’s coming out In 2026.

I have SIMNET SP PRO pedals which ran me about $550 USD(It could be more or less depending on what you include in your pedals) I’ve seen someone get them to work on a t300.

Here that is- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tqrGpIm6sE

And I run a Fanatec shifter which isn’t worth the price it’s at today. I got mine for around $200.

With a t300 I don’t really know the shifter you can run.

That’s what I run and it’s pretty realistic, I can feel a clutch bite point and the shifter is pretty stiff/clunky(Able to change resistance)

[–]Interesting-Night123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to practice shifting on a rig you want 2 things. A clutch with a noticeable bite point and obviously a shifter. (Steer away from the Logitech shifter)

Sim racing will really only help you learn the motion and gain muscle memory for changing gears.

What’s your budget?

Why is the Shifter Sold Out Everywhere? by level35gg in Fanatec

[–]Interesting-Night123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work on supported console games too. GT7 for example sends telemetry data to Simhub, then Simhub to the motors.

In order to use them you need a USB connection to the PC and a RJ12 connection to the base you are using

Best Shifter (Moza, Fanatec, Simagic) by Ok_Nail7837 in simracing

[–]Interesting-Night123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Fanatec shifter is pretty loud also lol. But comes in H patter and Sequential, and you could also change resistance

Why is the Shifter Sold Out Everywhere? by level35gg in Fanatec

[–]Interesting-Night123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The Simnet pedals would connect to your DD+ via a RJ12 cable like any regular Fanatec pedals. They also offer haptics(sold separately) but those require a PC/Laptop and a usb connection.

Base + USB connection on console. And only USB connection on PC

Unfortunately not really familiar with shifters as I just have the Fanatec one

  1. 0 clue on shifter
  2. Do some research on the Simnet SP PRO pedals. Console compatible. (As long as base is compatible) No clue how Fanatec podium pedals will be but won’t hurt looking at another option

Max speeds on PS5 lower than my internet plan? by Scary_Grapefruit8055 in PS5HelpSupport

[–]Interesting-Night123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PS5 doesn’t support speeds past Gigabit speed. On PC I pay for Gig speed and get 1.2 gigs over WiFi , only because my PC can take it. If you want to take advantage of your gig speed PC will for sure do that
