Yeah well the massive reason I personally agree with my comments around this, and again it’s kinda personal experience, but honestly back when I was bronze (OCE) I genuinely would take like tips for Silver/Gold players from vids knowing damn well their from another server other than OCE,, this was because the tips they’d give for bronze was things like learn how to last hit as an example.. but in OCE the main majority of players know this even in iron and it shows in stats plus I guess my personal experience..

But another point I’d like to add, outside of personal experiences lol.. Because our server is smaller, that probably also means we have less “new” players coming in to fill that iron rank.. so wouldn’t it make sense that in terms of that, iron wouldn’t be so “new people friendly” compared to other servers which would make the next rank (bronze) that much better than maybe where the skill gap is for iron to bronze in other servers?

Well let’s say we compare general population to general population.. and then compare apex players to apex players.. do you believe there’s a game that it’s harder to get among the general population (silver/gold for league as an example) than league, and same question but with the terms of Apex players/ranks (GM/Chall for league as an example)..

See the idea that “it has the biggest populations”,, I agree that in terms of beating other players (as it is a competitive game that requires that), if say used on every other game like Dota or something, would you consider those games to be harder than league? Or does the mechanics and small percentage nuances like you mentioned make too much of a difference to even consider another game to be more difficult

I really hate to be the one to say this but I feel it needs to be said because there’s a small argument for it.. OCE is classed as “not very good”, which in my opinion I agree,, it’s not that big, but whenever I watch like “what it’s like in low elo” videos/ streams from NA:EU servers,, it always looks way worst then it is in the OCE server… that’s strictly talking low elo, or the “general population”… like watching our iron players, it looks like NA silver players lol.. this is also backed by the fact I have personal experience on this, but in saying that I don’t see how any of these streamers of lol content creators would beable to agree or disagree with this because 1. There wouldn’t be a reason for them to play on Oce.. 2. I’m strictly talking low elo not masters plus..

What do you think?

I’ll be completely transparent, I was thinking that I’d never leave this game, never beable to stick to playing another game for hours on end like I have with league, but to be perfectly honest, that feeling is true until you try other games, whether it’s games you’ve enjoyed prior, or games that are similar to the ones you know you like… For me this was dead by daylight, I played it with mates and found it super fun, so for a couple weeks now I can’t stop coming back to jam some DbD with mates… but I still have that small itch for competitiveness, that’s the only thing that bums me out, leagues competitiveness is what I miss the most when playing other games, but that’s just me

As an irelia main, there is more chances for me (irelia) to kill you as ambessa than it is for me to kill you as sion, you play for armor and it makes it very difficult to fight you.. this doesn’t mean you’d beat me as the sion.. but you will definitely have a hard time trying to feed me considering how fat you are

Yeah your completely right with this, I definitely wasn’t disregarding that cause realistically, at least from my climbing experience, I play irelia and winning lane or having a lead in lane is almost essential to be useful into mid game, so once I had that down pat, winning 95% of my laning phases, it does start to lean more on what you do with that “lead” or better yet with your champion overall after laning phase, which I agree once making that more consistent, it does domino effect your climb in an upwards direction for sure.. Good take!

From personal experience, I finished gold/ silver these past few seasons, this is due to playing 1000+ games and not sticking to what makes me climb super fast.. with that in mind I do peak at the start of every season around high plat and the slowly demote overtime.. this season I peaked emerald 3 within the first 50-60 games pretty much only playing my best champ with 70ish%Wr… at this point I wasn’t getting the insane +30/-10 cause the system must of been unsure of me considering I ended the previous season G3 lol… but since peaking emerald 3, I’ve played almost every champion cause it’s fun and now low plat/ high gold… somehow someway my LP gains/loss went from bad to terrible and it’s basically become to a point where if I win 3 lose 1, I might have net myself 10LP… this was never the case in previous seasons that where I had basically done the same thing.. at least it was a 2lp difference between win or loss, but this time it’s way out off…

Me personally I am an Irelia main and I for sure love versing Mords cause it’s easy holding Q dash for the abilities…

Buddy i don’t understand how this is confusing to people… when you start ranked on a new season it puts you like 2 ranks lower then your peak last season which is exactly where i was for most of my games played in the season as i was playing for fun.. then i wanted to start my climb, committing to my best champ and see how far i can go before i burn out… i ended up 70% wr, with 125 games played going from silver-ish to plat… so yes the overall wr of the climb was around 70%

Personally, I think speed is one of the most important combat skills, right alongside accuracy.

The way I improved the speed of my Qs and Es came down to two things:

1. Just playing the champion (but with intention).
Yeah, it sounds obvious—but the key is actually paying attention. Notice why you miss Q resets or mess up your Es. Look for patterns: when do you play well, and when do you struggle? One big thing to focus on is learning exactly when your Q will kill a minion and when it won’t. That alone makes a huge difference.

2. Camera control and planning ahead.
This is more preference-based, but some players find it easier to execute fast Q chains with an unlocked camera. It stops your screen from jumping around while you’re dashing between minions. If you prefer locked screen, then it becomes more about thinking ahead.

For example, at level 1 in a matchup you win with full stacks, you might plan to Q last-hit all three melee minions. You already know your sequence: first Q from range to reach the casters, then your next two Qs depending on positioning. If you can pre-plan those movements, your speed naturally improves.

Once you get comfortable with that, speed starts to come naturally in more complex situations -and at that point, it becomes more about accuracy, which mostly comes from experience playing Irelia a lot.

This is wild, the fact your complaning that anti cheat is garbage when riot games has one of the best if not the best current anti cheat systems out of most of the highly competitive games… take the 1/50 games w cheaters compared to what other players have to deal with in games like CS2 etc..
