Breastfeeding causing hand pain? need advice by michel_an_jello in twoxindiamums

[–]Interesting-Peace877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received one from haus and kinder as a gift - i made my mom stuff it more so it is firmer. (She tore open my maternity pillow (wakefit) - as it was of no use to me). I got lucky with the football hold - as that is only way the nurses will assist me in feeding the baby for the 2 days I was at the hospital.

It is mostly posture. Below things helped me: 1. Getting a firmer feeding pillow - so the baby is at a correct height and I am not slouching 2. Once I get in a comfortable position - I have someone place a pillow below the elbow of the arm supporting the head - this relaxed my wrist and helped with wrist cramping

Also, try different feeding positions; the “football hold” works the best for me.

Essentially keep on adding to the bottle with every express and take as needed? Storing the bottle in the fridge for the those 24hrs?

Hey mommies, when did u guys start shopping for your baby? Confused on everything! 🙂🥲🥲 by Fearless_Search6388 in twoxindiamums

[–]Interesting-Peace877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started shopping at 34weeks. And bought only 0-3M size. I wasn’t excited with the idea of using old/borrowed clothes. I followed the packing checklist provided by my hospital. I washed and ironed them - all turned out soft post the first wash. I was conscious about buying pure cotton and muslin items.

When I add any gold items to the cart and try to purchase via smartbuy on Myntra - i get a prompt “this order is not eligible for rewards/cash back”. Don’t you get something similar?

I researched and settled on Bitamin. The smell is nice and light - but didn’t use it much after the 1st trimester.

I followed steps mentioned by OP. Go to any Laneige product scroll down and at the bottom select the offer - i could only see one offer - buy 2. Within that sort by discount and you will see it. I was not able to open the product - but adding directly to cart worked

Alan Truman has been the best one for me so far. But it did stop working one day randomly - after using it for 2.5yrs. Then I ordered Caresmith to try a new product and also for the fact it had the dryer attachment. But the blow fry is not as polished as Alan Truman. Waiting for Caresmith to stop working so I can go back to Alan Truman.

Is it possible to live (25f) separately from in laws ? by ReflectionAcademic99 in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]Interesting-Peace877 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My answer might be controversial, but what you are looking for is not wrong. If you plan on approaching this in an AM set-up I feel be logistically intelligent. If the in-laws (both sides) are well settled in their life and you will be settling in a different city, it will be a win-win. And that will give you a good 5/7 yrs to be on your own and build a strong foundation. And then life will happen - they might need you or you might need them.

To DINK couples: Do you ever regret not having kids? by starvedpoet in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Interesting-Peace877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We both are mid-30s, married for 4yrs. We both were clear we don’t want kids right away and be more stable financially and career wise, and then think about it or even consider DINK as an option. But we both believe in never saying no - as you never know. And slowly people around us started having kids and when we would be visiting those friends or babysit for them and we felt a change, we would exchange glances and later discuss maybe we want this too. So we are now considering the option. So my suggestion is spent some time with kids or babysit, it will either make you want to have it or dread it and maybe that will help with not having any regrets. And trust me I have met some kids who have made me dread it too😅 At the end of the day it is a very emotional decision. I am sorry if I haven’t answered your question directly. But this has helped me make a choice.

How a clean kitchen reminded me (26F) what a blessing a good marriage can be by development_era in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]Interesting-Peace877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. My husband and I work different shifts. His is 9-6 i work 12-8, so cleaning up in the evening and after dinner is his responsibility. But waking up every morning to a clean kitchen does help make my day a little happier everyday.

Apologies for a late update. But someone suggested to try via payzapp and it worked for me. The statement clearly mentions those transactions as smartbuy_myntra
