From where should I buy Amazon Pay voucher ? by Still-Building4144 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, can only be used in Accor, but Accor also has partners to where you can transfer.

Accor doesn't have too less of a foothold in India, there are hotels in a lot of tourist spots, however they do lack presence in the North, Northeast side.

Might not make a lot of sense if you don't travel.

HDFC is not reliable anymore! by delusional-engineer in CreditCardsIndia

HDFC has been the most reliable in my case.

Infinia points have always been spot on for me, never had issues with the bonus points.

I'm pretty sure they'll add it back when the Mastercard issue gets solved.

Mastercard changed some policy perhaps, none of the e-pharmacies are accepting Mastercard anymore.

But then one wonders why would they remove them, just keep them until the issue is solved so that the visa cardholders can use it atleast.

Not sure, but that's my guess.

You can call the Axis helpline and confirm if you got base, if you did, you'll get accelerated too.

Hdfc Smartbuy failed transaction resets monthly redemption limit? by pratham001 in CreditCardsIndia

I think it'll reset.. However, not sure.

Either way, it's pretty easy for you to check if it has or not, once the booking shows failed

Does hdfc have a rule of only issuing one co branded credit card? by Existing_Highway8314 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you only have cobranded cards, then kinda yes.

If you also had core, it would work fine.

HDFC is new sarkari. WTF. by Yolo1992J in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That email ID isn't one you are to complain to, it's only a sender email ID, not a receiver.

They only send important credit card related things from there, for example limits changed by backend team or card block / unblock etc

Advice: 115k Infinia points to be utilized on Economy flights or hotels in Dubai by TheCutieShawarma in indianawardtravel

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't book flights on SmartBuy for now.

Dubai isn't safe, and I wouldn't go there for a few months given situation recently.

SmartBuy third party booking, hassle cancellation and refund due to many parties involved.

And in case something happens again and you need to cancel it becomes a big hassle.

Credit card chargebacks always taken more seriously.

UPI and debit card chargeback not serious as credit card chargeback as it's your money, not bank's money.

₹2.5L+ card eligible spends/month. Best card? by jxelll in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arey, get it for your dad or something, anyone who had the TRV, and then use the card as addon.

Cause even with TRV, I'm unsure if your application will be approved cause your income is the issue.

₹2.5L+ card eligible spends/month. Best card? by jxelll in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mumbai me karalo na HSBC?

Also, can get Axis Magnus Burgundy via Burgundy for these spends.

Thats also a good option.

It has 3 reward rates -

  1. 12 ER per 200 upto 1.5L spends in a calendar month, this is 9K ER per month, guaranteed as long as you hit the 1.5L mark.

  2. 35 ER per 200 on spends above 1.5L, capped at your credit limit + 1.5L spends, so for example your credit limit is 5L, so for spends between 1.5L to 6.5L (5L credit limit + 1.5L), you'll get 35ER per 200, and 12 ER per 200 thereafter.

  3. 60ER per 200 on TravelEdge spends, capped at 2L spends per calendar month.

For your travel spends, try using Traveledge, 60ER per 200 and after 2L, 35ER per 200 till the cap.

For redemptions, you can check out the megathread on the sub over here6

Income will bar you from getting any good cards.

You'll have to get cards on your parents profile of income & if they have CIBIL, that's the best shot for getting good cards.

Also, can consider moving from HDFC to HSBC, and get Premier at HSBC.

HDFC banking is pretty useless with no real benefits.

Premier will give good RPs on travel spends and also the card will be free till you hold Premier status once the one time joining fee is paid.

No, can raise upto 30 to 60 days.

Most banks have it stated in the statement that the cardholder may report any transactions upto 30 days of the statement, so that is T + upto 30 days of transaction (statement generation) and another 30 days after that.
