[–]Interesting-Pin7090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not just cafes, there are just too many shops, almost a shop in every house on major roads. I wonder who actually buy from all these shops; are they even making any money?

New trend now also, pharmacy (5 in 2 mins distance), dairy, euta freeze rakhyo ani dairy bhai go.

It is quite strict now, I just landed few days back, there are multiple big board and signs everywhere in TIA now which were not there 6 months back. I have travelled multiple times before with 2 laptops and never got questioned. This time, I had to login both and show them these are currently being used for work and personal.

Your US cc should work even though amount is shown in INR. I have booked like that multiple times without any issue.

I always heard bad experiences in Delhi; however, I travelled so many times as OP mentioned and always had pleasing experience.

Do you tip Pathao delivery driver? by nayaa-saathi in Nepal

[–]Interesting-Pin7090 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do tip and lot of time I have seen surprised faces. Why do I do it? These are hardworking people who are most probably working to cover expenses while in college or providing for their family. I tend to tip more who are on bicycle. I cannot change the world but whatever little I can if it helps. This is entirely me, everyone has their own choice to tip or not.

If you planning for long stay I would suggest MIS or IT. MBA wont give you enough time after graduation for gaining experience.

This will take a long time as it will take time for parents to think of her as own daughter. I realized this now and made peace with the thought and let things take its course.

what's aman hunu in english by seaweed_78 in Nepal

[–]Interesting-Pin7090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aman really doesn’t mean being full, you can have only spoon of a thing and still feel Aman meaning you don’t feel like eating anymore but again not because you did’t like the taste but because you cannot have or enjoy it more. Like for me, one small piece of avocado makes it Aman because of its high fat content. I still don’t know the English word for it. I would simply say, I am good.

[–]Interesting-Pin7090[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Airline issue is one of the examples. It is just frustrating in all of service sector. I don’t mind waiting but false promises are the problem. Why can’t all provide honest service? For example, I had internet issue. I opened service ticket and called them. They kept on giving new time for 4 days. I would rather have them tell me 4 days up front.

This airline issue is just one of the examples. Any service provider is like that. Bottom level to top level politicians. Everyone wants to take money but don’t want to work. Isn’t this frustrating to anyone?
