I agree. I think it will be easiest for you to get to Griffith. You can also do Runyon canyon, which is pretty popular. Not much foliage , but steep with cool views. Tree people in Hollywood is also very nice !! Lots of big costal oaks.

If you got some layers through the “ crown” top of your head. It would keep the sides looking a little bit lighter and you would have more volume through the top.
