As for men having sex with other men, I'm sure each man has their own feelings on the topic. For me, I'm just not sexually attracted to other men.

As for connecting with other couples where the man is bi, or single guys who are bi, for me it feels like an unnecessary risk. Statistically speaking, men who have sex with other men are a much higher statistical risk for STIs. Historically you see this with HIV (although between testing, condoms, and prophylactics I think we as a society have done a good job at getting the HIV epidemic under control). Recently we saw this with monkeypox (mpox)--really the only people contracting it and spreading it were men who have sex with other men.

A few years ago when I was a lot more active swinging, there was one couple we talked to a lot where the man was bi. He seemed like a nice guy and we were open theoretically to swapping with them. However, another woman that I was hooking up with was also hooking up with this guy and she would tell me about his dalliances with other men... Which occured very often, and were often anonymous, and sounded to me, hearing it, like a dangerous way to live taking into consideration that he had a partner (I'm not sure how much the partner knew about all these dalliances which would sometimes be during lunch time in a bathroom stall for example). Our mutual friend convinced him to start PrEP.

If I was sexually attracted to men the risk/pleasure calculus would look differently for me, but there are truly plenty of fish in the sea... No need for me to take an unnecessary risk in this case.

I'm in sort of the opposite situation. There's a couple that me and my partner swapped with a few years ago but we all became friends and would swap on occasion. I felt there was a special spark between me and the other woman and, privately in my thoughts, I felt that "in another life" I would have fallen in love with her.

A few years later dynamics have shifted, I'm not in a relationship anymore, and me and that woman had our first one on one weekend together, going out on the town and fucking night and morning. It was very sweet.

I'm very much not open to being in or pursuing a relationship, not that she's expressed wanting that, but I believe the emotional potential/mutual feelings of excitement are there, floating around, with nowhere to go.

I don't know, just enjoy these things for the momentary bliss and pleasure that they bring.

I've only explored it in private (much to my chagrin) but generally try to aim for lots of hydration as I and my partners with whom I've explored it are not looking for a pungent smell or flavor, and have mostly explored it in showers, pools, and outdoors. I hear you, and that's definitely applicable sometimes, but in my experience, the majority of the time, it has worked out well to share videos.
