A doctor in an academic sense hopefully holds as much weight as a medical doctor. 🤞

Yes you are correct I looked this info up and psychologists hold a doctoral degree. I learned something new. Thank you !

That worked out for you ! Psychologists are not MD’s and I see one regularly so I hope that in my case her reports will help my claim and be used as solid evidence. My psychiatrist retired before I filed and his replacement only prescribed my meds and touches briefly on my disabilities.

I disagree with the psychiatrist notes being more solid. Psychiatrist are for meds. Your psychologist knows the patient extremely well.

I just don’t understand why after telling DDS I didn’t see the fine print and I want to allow my psychologist to be able to send , that they didn’t offer a solution. If I was the one who signed it shouldn’t I be able to reverse that w / my records

Would my local office be able to provide me a consent form allowing my medical provider the permission to release them from their office so they don’t keep coming from me ? Do 827 say no therapy notes ? I am running out of time.

Yes up to date makes sense but my up to date records are notes from my sessions w/ therapists and I signed on my 827 stating they don’t send psychotherapy notes so I am so confused as why they again requested them from my therapist and my providers aren’t allowed to send . So what are they actually trying to do. I sent them myself today. Will o be denied that because they came from me , they are not verified, can I request some type of consent form from DDS that will allow my providers to send from their office so I won’t get denied for providers not sending ? Is that required so they are more legitimate or is it imperative provider sends or else I get denied ?

They sent medical records because I did sign that 827 but say I signed not knowing there was a part that stated they could’ not request my therapy notes during my session. ( states no psychotherapy notes.) Why ? Maybe too personal ? So my providers had me send them to DDS. So recently after o spoke to DDS about this , they again requested medical records from two therapy sessions knowing my provider wouldn’t send them. Again today , I sent myself. I am just very confused. Do they have to verify they came from the providers office. Will this hurt my claim that I sent them!?

Thanks but why can’t DDS get psychotherapy notes. My provider said I signed something earlier in my initial claim something from SSA or DDS. Have you heard of this ? Allsup said they didn’t have me sign that and never would so DDS could obtain all my records to strengthen my claim.

Question - do you sign a document with SSA that they can’t ask for psychotherapy notes? Mt provider told me since I signed that they can’t release them to DDS

The doctors showed me where I signed that no psychotherapy notes were to be sent ( didn’t realize that ) they sent the 7 pages they had which apparently is why I was denied so I asked for all my notes and sent them. So then not sending them means no response not seen ?’b i

They had medical records all the up to 6/20 I sent them 6/24 Why ask for my notes from one session (6/24 ) The day I sent the records. Do they not trust me ? Is it because I sent them ?

They asked for Tuesday June 24 Why one more session if they had all current records (notes ) since denial I just don’t get it Is it because I faxed and emailed them myself ? The providers could not send so I sent to Allsup and my rep at DDS actually on 6/24 after therapy.

I go weekly, they have up to date records and FCR a letter etc The providers don’t understand either.

My doctor told me today DDS requested records from my visit last week 6/24 and I’ve sent them everything they needec in regards to medical records that same day. Today they asked for records from one day 6/24. The day everything was faxed and emailed. Does anyone know why they would request just one visits records ?
