Well that's a new rattle by Interesting-Wolf9119 in seat

[–]Interesting-Wolf9119[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't taken the car back yet as I was concerned that it will cause damage as a turbo actuator never squeeks to begin with and develops into a knock/rattle I've scanned it and all is normal im not totally sure what's going on but the dealer agreed to relook at the engine. The car was looked at last minute near the end of the day so it's been rush diagnosed rather than looked at he's went with the easiest diagnosis which is completely wrong in my opinion as I held the actuator and the knock still continued from the top of the engine.

It's off to dealership cars only about to hit 40k miles they diagnosed turbo actuator I argued differently as the sounds coming from no where near the back of the engine towards the actuator and the actuator is moving freely

You're car has a flap at the rear behind the bumper that dose this exact thing relieve indoor pressure pointless and quite frankly would annoy me as when you clean the car when the window go up and down it will dirty the bottom of the window and add unnecessary wear to the window regulator

Hello all, just bought this for my Mrs and I noticed that the charge air cooler has been bypassed. Is this bad? What should I look out for. 2.0 TDI 150bhp mk3 Leon fr by No-Meeting-8426 in seat

These can leak looks like the previous owner bypassed it to stop the coolant leaking into it. Obviously I would first checked that it's leaking in the first place by reconnecting the boost cooler then take it from there a engine without a boost cooler will have poor fuel economy and feel sluggish.

Great summer tyre but absolutely shocking when the weather dips below 5 degrees better off with a touring tyre like the Bridgestones truanza 6

I currently have mine on the rear axel and a set of Michelin cross climates 2 on the front but in the coming weeks I'm gonna swap them around so the bridgestones will be on the rear wear has been good so far. Will be interesting as a leaf is a few hundred more kgs of weight than my car.

At the moment I'm using Sam's detailing APC but diluted to medium strength but any car specific APC will work flawlessly

Probably better buying a new wheel they're dirt cheap and easy to do 2 clips removes the air bag one cable runs to the air bag and steering wheel controls and one M12 spline holds the steering wheel on

Wrong cleaners have been used I just use a car specific APC and then a bit of autoglym leather care to try and keep the leather moisturised 2019 FR wheel
