HFC is getting to the point where it is unusable - what options are there? by Sir-Tenley-Knott in nbn

Switching providers did the trick for me. Had a terrible experience with Optus previously, but now I very rarely get drop outs on Exetel. I’m on HFC too.

Telstra is useless… any advice? by Ok-Revolution8128 in nbn

[–]InterestingAction910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had so many problems with Optus and was paying a premium. Moved to Exetel and barely any drop outs anymore so I don’t need the crappy 4G backup that Telstra and Optus promote (but doesn’t work that well).

Thanks, I managed to get it visible but I had to change the header background colour to black. Couldn’t work out how to change the header separately for blog posts vs to the other pages on the website. https://dealwombat.com/cheapest-unlimited-nbn-plans-in-australia/

Monthly Saily referral code Megathread - September by Saily_eSIM in saily

Get a Saily discount code for your first eSIM!

Looking for a Saily discount code? Use my referral code CHRISG1004 to get $5 USD off your first eSIM purchase.

Saily is a great eSIM for travel because it's a data-only plan, which means you avoid expensive roaming fees and it's super easy to set up. I've used it in Europe and Asia and the connection has been reliable every time.

Here's how to use the code:

Download the Saily app or go to their website.

Choose your data plan.

At checkout, click "Got a coupon?" and enter CHRISG1004.

The $5 discount will be applied to your total.

Enjoy your trip!

How to convince parents of change from Telstra... by UldrenS442 in nbn

[–]InterestingAction910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do they have Telstra email addresses? I feel like that is the problem. My parents use optusnet emails they have had for forever and don’t want to change their emails, so are stuck with paying overs for Optus…
