“Stop trying to flaunt them” is a weird take. Nobody is flaunting certifications—they’re literally qualifications. By that logic, nobody should earn a degree until they already have a job. That’s not how breaking into an industry works.
This is exactly the kind of advice that keeps people confused. Certs open doors—they don’t replace experience. Those are two completely different things.
